country friends comfortable, and the call
of his town friends agreeable. He as
usual is well iupplied with the bcft of
provisions; his cellers well flored with
the belt of WINES, BRANDY, RUM,
GIN, PORTER, &c. Sec. and a STA
BLE well lined with plenty of Corn, Fod
der, and every other neceflary for the
good of their Horses. aided and ailifted by
an old and experienced OSTLER, wbofe

mals put under his charge.

to business, and his every willingness to
serve, he hopes for a continuation of the
favors of his old and numerous friends and

House of Entertainment ,
At his old (land in Broad-street, being
at present the most public part of the
citv, where he is provided with a general
afTortment of the BEST of LIQUORS,
and has one of the most airy, and well
conftruHed STABLES in the Southern
states, and an excellent hostler. Under
these circumstances, together wi'li his
determination, to exert himfelf to plcafc,
and do ample juflice to his customers,
by one uniform charge, which fliall al
ways be as low as the markets will possi
bly admit, he flatters himfelf of at Icaft,
obtaining a share of the patronage of a
generous public, which he thanks most
sincerely for the many past favors he
has received, and hopes his attention in
future will be such as to merit a contin

that we Grace Reid and John
Cafhin, of the city Angufta and state
of Georgia, are held and firmly bound to
Robert Reid of this city and state afore*
said, in the full sums of viz. The said
Grace Reid in five hundred dollars, the
said John Cafliin in two hundred and
fifty dollars, to be paid to the said R.
Reid or alfigns, for which payment .well
and truly to be made, we bind ourfelvbs,
our heir«, txecutors and adminiftrator*
by tliefe presents. Witness, our hand*
and seals, this 21st day of February,
A. D. one rhoufand eight hundred and
four, and twenty.eighth of American In
dependence.
The condition of this obligation is
such, that if the above bound G. Reid,
doth well and truly observe to keep the
peace with the said R. Reid, by offering
no hindrance or molestation to his person
or property, either through claim of mar
riage connections, or mifunderftaiuiing
that may have taken place, allowing him
freely to pursue (on his own credit) any
lawful occupations, with all persons, at
all times, and in all places, then the above
obligation to be void, otherwise to remaiu
in full force and virtue.

The Subscriber
TAKES this method of acquainting
the public, that having unfortunate
ly got acquainted with a Mrs. Loid, in
December last, and that on the full dav of
this present year, she took and has since
gone under the name of Mrs. Reid, a short
time after there was a great difference t (J <k
place between ns—and therefore w r agreed
to part, bpon the following terms, that flie
wanted nothing more than the property
that was under her own name Grace
Loid, and being agreed to by us both,
there was a writing drawn up by Nicho
las Ware, Attornev, for said purpose,
and having appointed men in the writing
which attended, for the good of both
parties and the property divided, which
was done, and a final reparation took
place, signed and sealed to the above
effe#, and that she has no right to con
tra# nor colie#, under the name that flic
has signed in the w ritings, Grace Reid.—
Therefore I forwarn all persons not to
deal with her upon my account on any
terms whatever.
