“When the American repreaentat'ves
arrive in London their appearance will
naturally be the occasion for a demon

which has never been seen in the En

welcomed as a most outwa d and visi

in the good work of peace the English

that at last in fullness of time the
English-speaking folk are able to act
together as a unit in the best Interest

the shape of a colossal demonstrat.on

after waiting upon the Queen and

The annual meeting of the chapter will
be held In January .and some matters
to be brought up at the meeting were
1 discussed. Notice was given that, at
this meeting, a motion would hr made
to make the credential committee con

tt was suggested that the daughters
of General Wheeler with the presiden

that a reception lie given In their hon

this would oe a graceful compliment,
hut that, In view of the short time
given for preparation, and of the fact
that everyone la busy Just now with
their private Xmas arrangements, the
plan would not be feasible,
j It was decided to present the daugh

of these flowers.
