IJIAVF now in the hands of the En
graver, which will be completed by
the first of November next, n general and
accurate Map of the Cherokee Country,
drawn from the returns of the District
purveyors. Owing In the great, number
of Lots, into which the country lias been
divided, particularly the Gold Region,
and the large dimension o( the sheet it
will require, to have all those numbers
distinctly and accurately laid down, 1
have thought it advisable to form the
Map into separate and detached Sec
tions ; which 1 designate us Gold Map
ami Land Map.
All the Land Districtsin the Territory
arc laid down on one sheet, and consti
tute a instinct and separate Map hy
themselves.
The districts reserved am! surveyed as
Gold Districts, arc divided into three
sheets or Maps. Districts No I, 3,3, 4,
U, 13, Id, 11, ami 15, of the first sec
tion, form the first Map.
Districts No. 1,3,3, 14, 15, 16, 17, IS,
1.4, 3d, 21 and 33, of the second section,
firm the second Map,
Districts No. 1,3, 3,4, 17, IS, 19,20,21.

No. 1, 3. 3, 16, and 17, of the fourth sec
tion, form the third Map. On those
•Maps will ho found each District ia the
Territory, with every square lot of Land
iiml Fraction distim liy laid down & num
bered; ail Mountains, Rivers, Greeks,
branches, Roads, Ferries, «.Vc. are cor
rectly ami faithfully delineated.
The Map will be handsomely engrav
ed, printed on strong silk paper, colored
it,id put up in morocco cases at the fol
lowing prices, viz; —
