guard against in the (Jins lie makes in future. His Gin* will he
made of tlie best materials, ami warranted to perform as well a any

him to sell Gins on as good terms as any other factory in the State. I

GRISWOLD'S IMPROVED COTTON GINS.
F|YHE subscriber will continue tlie manufacture of Gins on his
I usual extensive scale, and embraces this opportunity to thank
his numerous customers for their liberal patronage heretofore. The |
estimation in which his Gins are held ‘may be known from the fact
of Ins having sold more than two thousand during the lasi three
1 years—probably ten to one over any other factory in the State. This
evidence of the superiority of his Gins, is accounted for by bis being •
the first to introduce the late improvements, UHd keeping the lead
by yearly adding new ones. His first and second improvements made
the quality of cotton perfect, though some were rather slow . Hi*
third made them sufficiently foat. It then only remained to make
, them more durable and convenient, which has been done he believes
effectually, by several lit w improvements the present year : besides,
: lie has the exclusive right for the State, with the prix i lege of other
sections, to tdrnisli Reid’s Patent Water iioxes, which are believed
to be ti n tiims more durable than any other, by those who have j
made a fair trial of them; and are infallibly secure against fire iy
friction. His fine Gins will gin Mastodon Cotton as well as any suw
gin can. Hi* agents will visit planters generally, and exhibit speci
men* of his late improvements, and point out their advantages in
time for all to engage ami be supplied before the next ginning sea
son, or engagements can be made by letter, directed to him, Clinton,
Jones county, Georgia. Gins will be delivered at the purchaser’s
residence, in any part of the State except the Cherokee counties,
where they w ill be left at the depot on the railroad most convenient
to t lie purchaser. All warranted to perform well, if us< <1 according
