cember, 1843,1 have counted and consolidated toe return* re
ceived at the Executive Department, of an election held on
the 31 si July lust, for a Brigadier General to command the 1st
Brigade,3rd Division, Georgia Militia!—Also,tho returns of
an election held onllie I7ih instant, for u Brigadier General
to command the 2nd Brigade,7ih Divinnn, Georgia Militia:
from which il appears, that in the 1st Brigade, 3rd Division,
