I*c Cordial dc Unclnc—On rJEH.v-
tr dc I’Aisiour*
rilHE subscriber has tho pleasure of umiounc
.L ing to iho citizens of tiie United States, t at
he Ims purchased, lor a very large sum mid from
the inventor, Uie celebrated Dr. Ma^nin, of Paris,
the recipe mid right Ibr making this astonishing
medicine. Until the appeurunce of the “Liieitia
Cordial,” (about three years since Vn was thought
that the complaints which it speudily overcomes,
wero heyomt die reach of huuiuii remedy, as for
upwards of a thousand years, they had hurtled the
wisdom uml ingenuity of tiie most nrolbuml phy-
siciaus in all parts of tiic world. This Cordial,
iiowuvcr, to thu great advantage of the human
ruco. »onn proved itself to he the desideratum so
long (ought tor; mid accordingly, notwithstanding
tne brief period of its existence, it Ims acquired u
celebrity so great, that it is eagerly sought Ibr
throughout t .ecivilized globe. Dr. Mnguiii soon
(Hiding mat tue demand was so vast as to render
a supply iinpoaaiblu, deposed of uie recipe and
light of sale, under obligations of secrecy, lor
England and tho Uuited Suites,‘und other’coun
tries, only preserving France and Italy for himself.
Thus has me subsc.iber possesod himself of the
iiivuhtuhlc secret, uml now hastens to jive the in-
httbiumts of his line of agency the benefits of his
speculation. * “
‘•Lo Cordial dc Lucille," or, in English, “tho
Lucin i Cordial,” is a general iiivigurutnrof thelm-
man frame. Ill all tue vurious casus of languor,
lassitude and debilitation, it is an unfailing reme
dy, ns it is equally its province to impart cheer
fulness and decision to die mind, as health und vi
gor to the body. But the peculiar virtue on which
its celebrity is based, is the facility and certainty
with whicu it res ores the virile powers when tuey
have been destroyed by disease, time, reckless
ness, or any of tho numerous cause* which termi
nate in the’prostration of those functions.
In common with the generality-of really good
medicines, tins Cordial contains nothing of a mer
curial or deleterious nature, among the many in
gredients which compose it; hut is, nt the same
time, so simple, yet so edicacious, that while it can
renovate the prostrated energies of a giant, an in
fant may use it, not only with impunity, hut with
advantage.
Tiie mages of society arc unfortunately such
that, notwithstanding the benefits which would ho
sure to result from it, wo cannot enter into an an
alysis of this inestimable CoiditU here, or publish
many of the documents which have been receiv
ed, us vouchers of the blessings it lias conferred on
uuiuhera of despairing individuals. But this we
cauuot forbear remarking—mat it has been de
monstrated that there is scarcely ever, if any such
thing at all, as uutural bniraimess, or as natural
imbecility of the ptoercant fa uc lions in either sex;
mid, therefore, thu those evils are the etlecjs of
artificial causes, and maybe speedily subdued and
removed hv the use of **Le Cordial do Lucille.”
Tin- Lucuiti Cordial is al o an indubitable cure
for the Gleet, nml tho Fluor Alims, obstructed,
tlirticult or painful Menstruation? also, for the
incontinence of Lruio or the involuntary dis
charge thereof, it is likewise an invaluable and
it nr vailed medicine in cases of Chronic Errup*
lions of the skin, anJ in the dropsical affections
of the aged. .
Most important to the American Public.
The United /States proprietor of the celebrated
Lucin i Cordial, or Elixir of Love, begs to lay be
fore the community, the following certificate,
which he has received from the inventor, the illus
trious Dr. Mugnin, of Paris ; .
••This is to certify, that I have disposed or the
recipe for making the Lucina Cordial, or Elixir ol
Love, nnd also the right to sell it throughout the
United Stn’OH of North America, to John Winters
Holder we I, M. D. My reasons for so doing is,
that the demands to me lor the above Cordial, of
which I tun the inventor, are so numerous, that I
am unable ;o supply all the orders IVoniFrancuuml
Italv alone; and have therefore disposed ol the
privilege*- vrtrhMifed in this and other certificates
