T HE Cotton Plantation known os Sombre-
monde, situate in Bryan county, on Great
Ogcchea Neck, hounded by lands formerly Mor
el’s and Young’s, now Roger’s, containing 1070
acres, bf which 320 arc cleared and have been
f ilaiited in cotton nnd provisions; 200 acres rich
ow hammock nnd swamp, uncleared; the remain
der pine, and dry salt marsh, which might bo re
deemed nt little expanse. On the premises are a
new dwelling, cotton, corn aud uegro houses,
with plantation utensils, aud n supply of provis
ions for the negroes till another crop. The place
is on the r*ilts and healthy, with a good landing
