The Luciim Cordial*
BEWARE OF FRAUD.
T HE unprecedented popularity of this benefi
cent anil inestimnblo CORDIAL in the U-
nited States, lias induced one or more unprinci
pled persons to manufacture spurious catchpenny
articles, under various names, and purporting to
produce the same effect; but which, ill reality, pro
duce no other effect than that of swindling the
public; nnd to give n yet more plausible appear
ance of their cupidity, those persons affect that
their wretched nostrums have been in use in
England und elsewhere for a number of years;
whereas, until the illustrious Dr. Mngnin made
his wonderful discovery, no euro for barrenness
had been ever thonght of, or at least made pub
lic ; and all those tlieu in use for the restoration
oftho decayed virile powers were found to be of
but little avail. Thus, all nostrums advertised
for barrenness or the cure of impotency, but Dr.
Mngnin’s aro more cntclipenny humbugs, which
would never have been thought of but for the ap
pearance nnd great celebrity of the LUCINA
CORDIAL. As no counterfeit ofthe name is
nt present in circulation, it may in general be a
sufficient caution for the purchaser to ask for the
Lucinn Cordial, but as further nssurance.it won Id
be ns well to note that its name, Luciua Cordiul,
or Elixir of Love, is stamped in the glass' of each
bottle—the combined urms of France nnd the U-
nited States are on the outward envelope—that
a Fleur de Lis is printed on tho accompanying
directions, nnd beautifully embossed on tho show
bills hanging in the stores of those who have tho
genuine article fur sale.
Tho celebrity of tlio Lunina Cordial being such
ns ii is, it is scarcely necessary to add tlinl it is the
only efficient remedy for barrenness, and the res
toration of decayed virile powers ever known;
and that in the cure of Fluor Albus,Gleet, obstruc
ted, difficult or painful Menstruation, the incon
tinence ofthe urine, or the involuntary discharge
thereof, its superiority over every other medicine
is not ouly decided, but unquestionable. For
