The Lucinn Cordial,
BEWARE OF FRAUD.
T HE unprecedented popularity of thisbonefi-
cent nud inestimable CORDIAL in the U-
nited States, hns induced one or more tiunrinci-
pled persons to manufacture spurious catchpenny
articles, under various names, and purporting to
produce the same effect; but which, in reality, pro
duce no other effect than that of swiudling the
public; nnd to give a yet more plausible appear
ance of their cupidity, those persons affect that
their wretched nostrums have been in use in
England and elsewhere for a number of yeurs;
whereas, until the illustrious Dr_Mngnin made
his wonderful discovniy, no cure for barrenness
hod been ever thought of, or at least made puD-
lie; nnd nil those then in use for the restoration
oftlin decayed virile powers were found ’.o be of
but little nvail. Thus, nil nostrums advertised
barrenness or the cure of impotency, but Dr.
ignin’s nro mere entebpenhy humbugs, which
would never have been thought of but for the ap
pearance and grent celebrity of tho LUC IN A
CORDIAL. As no counterfeit pfthe name is
nt present in circulation, it may in general be a
sufficient caution for the ptirchn*or to a*k for tho
Lucinn Cordial, but as further assurunce.it would
be es wety to note that its name, Luchin Cordial,
or Elixir of Love, is stamped in the gtu*a of each
bottle—tho combined arms of France and the U-
nited Stales nre on the outward envelope—that
a Fleur de Lis is printed ou tho nccompnnying
directions,andheaiitiftilly embossed outlie show
hills bringing in the stores of those who have the
genuine article for sale.
The celebrity of the Litcina Cordinl being such
as it is, it is scarcely necessary to add tiinl it is the
only efficient remedy fur barrenness, and the res
toration of decayed v irile powers ever known;
nnd that in the cure of Fluor Alhns,Gleet, obstruc
ted, difficult or paiufiil Menstruation, the incon
tinence of the mine, or the involuntary discharge
thereof, its superiority over every other medicine
is not only decided, hut unquestionable. For

W E perceive by the papers tlmt the fntnous
French physician, Dr. Mngnin, has estab

extraordinary medicine in this city; and Io *pcnk
the truth, we ore sorry for it, as we think that
there are too many people in this part of the
world already. We dare not enter into an expla
nation of the wondors effected hy this medicine
here, but will nevertheless venture to ndd, that it
is the rovnlist tiling in the world forgm/fo/iniand

" The Litciuo Cordial’’ is a general invigorntor
of the liutnun frame in nil the various cases of
langor, lassitude and debilitation, and is nt the
same time so simple, yet so efficacious, that while
it can renovate the prostrated energies nf a giant,
un infant may use it. not only with impunity, but
with advantage. Tho Lucinc Cordial is also an
indubitable cure for the incontinence oftho urine,
or tlio involuntary discharge thereof. It is like

cases of chronic eruptions of the skin, and in tho
dropical affections oftho ngo.
