A Certain Cure for Sick Ileud-
Aclic.
W HICH has been used in futilities, every
member of which has bad vieWKjnlache
from infancy,ns a constitutional family complaint,
nnd lias cured effectually in every instance yet
known, amounting to muny hundreds. It is not
unnloasant to the taste, and doe* not prevent the
daily avocation* of one using it; it must be perse
vered in, and the cure U gradual/ but certain and
permanent. Instances are constantly multiply
ing where this distressing compluint fs complete
ly relieved nnd cured, although of ycurs standing,
by tho use of Dr. Spohn’s celebrated remedy.
One decided preference is its pleasantness, huv
ing none of the nauseating effects of comtnoti
drugs.
In nil dyspeptic symtoms, costiveness, irregu
larity, distress uAer meals, pains in the side and
torpidity of the liver, the cure is perfect, nnd any
one so ufflicted will become immediately convin
ced on using it, that ho has at lust found a ‘‘sover
eign balm for his wounds.” Females nre particu
larly rocommended to use it for costiveness or ir
regularity, nnd other female complaints. It is
E roved to correct vitiated and disordered humors
coping tlio stomach in most perfect order. Those
persons who afler ar evenings indulgence at par
ties, <Krc. have headache und dullness tho next
day, will find this a sure preventive if tnken at
bed time. For all common complaints, in n few
days its virtues will he self-evident, and a complete
cure will soon he effected. When a person has
n cold nnd feels unwell, generally a free use of it
fora few days will be sure to relievo .without
physic or pills. To children it may be given with
tlni greatest advantage.
In all acidity or sournesR of stomach this remedy
is sovereign nnd invaluable; ns a general family
medicine it is now adopted by many of the most
respectnblo fumiles. It never sickens the stomach
produces any of the unplcusant effects ofphysic.

habits experience that total loss of appetite, disa
grecahlo listleasness and relaxation oftho system.
They strengthen the stomach, procure a good ap
petite, promote digestion, purify tho blond, and

Rose Ointment,
F OR Tetter, Ringworms, Pimples bn the
Face, nnd other cutaneous eruptions. Tet
ters, Ringworms, nnd herpetic eruptions gener
ally, are among the most tedious and disagreeable
affections to which tho human frame is liable.
Situnted as it were, on the verge of vitality it is
almost impossible to reach them by inward reme
dies. Ilencc the ineffiency of undergoing n course
of medicine, or subjecting ourselves to the un
comfortable system of strict diet: such inpansby
reducing the system merely palliate the symptoms
while they are in practice, to recur as violently,
or more so, when a generous diet is returned to.
And the generality of external npplicntioiishnve
no other effect than the diseusoin one place, soon
to show itselfin the same or another part. When
all those means have failed, and in man/ severe
cases, a purservance for nshorttime in the use of
the Rose Ointment has proved effectual. There
is no trouble in using (applying it every night.)

Caution.
T HE high reputation which Frauds Kidder’*
Indelible Ink hns sustained for 15 or 20
years, has caused several imitations of the artiela
to ba offered for sale as “Kidder’s Indelible Ink."
They resemble the genuine ink in their exterior
appearance, and cs some of them bears the name
of Kidder, the public have been grossly deceiv
ed. To guard against this deception, purchasers
will please be particular to ask for Francis Kid
der’s Ink, and observ e that hia name la on tho top
and front ofthe box.
This ink cannot be effaced; but is warranted to
ren’ain perfectly indelible for ages, if the direc
tions are followed in using it.

liver, and the other important functions ol the
system, the loss of which harmony is evidently the
immediate cause of the disease. It speedily pro
motes a regular nnd healthy appetite which is
generally entirely destroyed <>r rendered vety
precarious; by which effuct, vigor and strength is
soon afforded to the whole system. It. must be
apparent to all. that a medicine possessing these
peculiar virtues, is useful in a great variety of
complaints. By renewing the healthy action of
the digestive organs, it has proved itself of re
markable benefit in dyspepsia, depraved appetite,
heart-burn, water brash, flatulency, jaundice,
night sweats, dysentery, hdivel complaints, and
all other affections of similar origin, hut it is in
the treatment of Fevers, and especially in Fever
nnd Ague, or Remittent Fever, that its powers
have been principally tested, and with those who
liavu scon its usefulness, it is pronounced sover-
eien to all remedies heretofore discovered fo
those diseases. It has also been used as a pre
ventive, by ninny who were subject to n periodi
cal a ucurretice of the chills and fever, nnd it hns
always wnrdgd-olf- the apprehended attack. It
was deemed nofntunroper to accompany tho
