ATLANTA, April 2.
Yesterday being one of military parade, and
the excitement attending the departure of our
“ Guards.’’ not much was done in the way of
trade. Large numbers of visitors were in atten

business to-day.
We have no material change to report, except
a alight decline in Coro of i(<$l cent on inferior
grade*. Prices rule the same on all goods. Or

the demand for Produce is still lively, notwith

The Western ic Atlantic Railroad daily brings
her quota of NO cars, and nodecrea*eof freights

the increase, we give the following fact: The
amount of freight chargeable to Atlanta Agency.

to $12,000 per month. Last August it ran as
high as $.'£>.000, and was acknowledged to be
the greatest amount ever liooked against Atlan

for the month of March have already reached
$85,000, and will probably go to $90,000 or $92.-
