pital Society .
AN election will be held at the court-house
on Monday, the sth of January next, from
nine till two o’clock, for twelve managers for
the government of the Poor-house and Hospi
tal, for the ensuing year. The following gen
tlemen are appointed to superintend the elec
tion :

John Moorhead, John P. Henry,
Jonathan Battelle, Henry W. Hilts,
Joseph Cumming, Moses Herbert,
Robert Campbell, Joseph S. Pelot.
The members of the society are requested to
go prepared to pay up their annual subscrip
tions. The generous and humane, who have
not yet subscribed, are solicited to come for
ward and contribute to the support of this use
ful and benevolent institution, in order that its
interesting objects may be effectually carried in
to execution. The accounts for the present year
will be published in the gazettes of this city for
the information of the members of the society.
