ANTIDOTE TO M A LABIA:
Equally certain as a Preventive or Cure.

Sec what the Prositlout el the Pharmaceutical Society
of Missouri, says of Similes’ Fovei ami Ague Cure, or An
tidote to Malaria:
St. Louis, Mo., Nov. 10, 1855.
HAVING noticed the certificate of chemical analysis
given hy the celebrated chemist Dr. J. R. Chilton,
ol Now York city, in saver of Khntles’ Fever and Ague
Cure, that it contained neither Quiniuc, Arsenic, Mor
curji nor Strychnine, and having received numerons ap
plication* tor it, f was induced to send to Dr. .Rhodes
lor the medicine. Since then I have disposed of a largo
quantity, mostly to residents of this city, who have invu
riatdy been cured by it, and to whom l can refer. I am,
therefore, satisfied in recommending it to be all that
the proprietor represents.

Constantine, Mich., Seirt. 24th, 1855.
James A. Riiodks, Esq.—Dear Sir:—l have just sent
an order to Ames A Jlulliduy for another half gross of
your Fever and Ague Cure. It has sold like “ Rot Cakes,”
and 1 bavo only two bottles on hand. One reason it
lms sold, is liecauso when I havo beard of a case of Ague
or Cliill Fever, i have sent a bottle and told them to try
it, and if it did not help them, they were not obliged to
pay for it, and they were all satisfied. I hud one case
of Chill Fever where it run four days, hut themau cuine
to sou me on the sixth (lay well satisfied.
Truly yours, JCIIN P. GLADDING.
Had the Ague for Twelve Years !
Providence, June 29, 1866.
Having been informed of the illness of a poor, but
worthy woman, who has not been fre e from Fever.aud
Ague a month at a time for the last twelve years, I sup
plied her gratuitously witli Rhodes’ Fever and Ague
Cure. She took in till four bottles which completely re
stored her to health and strength, and as four months
have now elapsed, there is no reason to doubt the perma
nency of the cure.
C. A. P. MASOF, Apothecary.
84 Mottles Perform 24 Cures.
Moline, 111., Sept. 24, 1855.
Mr. James A. Rhodes—Dear Sir—The box of “ Ague
Cure” you sent us has all been sold and created a large
demand lbr more; to meet which we havo ordered
from your general agent at Chicago, J. I>. Yerrington.
Its sale will only be equalled liy the number of Fever
and Ague cases. Hoping these cases way be few, yet
have a bottle for every case.
M e remain respectfully yours,
RICHARDS A ALLEN.
Louisville No. It, C. U. 11.. Ga., Jan. 1, 1850.
Your Ague Cure lias overcome all prejudices by its
merits, and given satisfaction. A gentleman just called
who has been fully cured by only one bottle, and de
sired me to recommend it to everybody. I shall do nil I
can in its sale. W. A.ItAYLKF.
Only Caution. —ln certain specified cases, pour
the contents of one or more bottles of the Cure into
shallow vessels, (dining plates,) and place them in
sleeping rooms; for the vapor rising from the medicine,
and also the air wafted across, or circulated over the
dregs of it, after the liquid is evaporated, will counteract
and destroy, to a degiee commensurate with its expo
sure, the miasmata or poison contained in theupartnient.
This mode of exhibiting the Curo should likewise be
resorted to when very young infants arc exposed to
malarious situations.
The bottles in which this medicine is put up have tho
words, ‘’Rhodes’ Fever and Ague Cure” blown in the
glass, and on the outside wrapper is the name of the
medicine, (the copyright of which is secured) and the
signature of the proprietor. These precautions are
taken to prevent counterfeits and imitations.
The reliance for its success is entirv.lv upon its
actual merits, wherever introduced and used. These
will he considered sufficient.
Prepared aud sold by the proprietor.
