ANTIDOTE TO MALARIA:
Equally certain as a Preventive or Cure.
NO POISON. PROOFS !
See what the President of tile Pharmaceutical Society
of Missouri, says of Rhodes’ Fever and Ague Cure, or An
tidote to Malaria:
St. Louis, Mo., Nov. 10, 1855.
HA\ ING noticed, the certificate of chemical analysis
given by the celebrated chemist Dr. J. K. Chilton,
of New York city, in fuver of Rhodes’ Fever and Ague
Cure, that it contained neither tfuiniue, Arsenic, Mer
curp nor Strychnine, and having received numerous ap
plications for it, 1 was induced to send to Dr. Rhodes
for the modiciue. Since then 1 have disposed t>l a large
quantity, mostly to residents of this city, who have inva
riably been cured by it, and to w hom 1 can refer. I alu,
therefore, satisfied in reeoiniuondiiig it to he all that
the proprietor represen ts.

70 Bottles Perform 2U Cures.
Constantins, Mich., Sept. 24th, 1855.
James A. Rhodes, Esq.—Dear Sir:— l have just sunt
an order to Ames A- Halliday for another half gross of
your Fever and Ague Cure. It lias sold like” Hot Cakes,”
and I have only two bottles on hand. One reason it
has sold, is because when 1 have heard of a case of Ague
or Chill Fever, I have sent a bottle and teld them to try
it; and if it did not help them, they were not obliged to
pay for it, and they were all satisfied. 1 hud onu ease
of Ci.ill Fever where it run four days, but the man came
to see me on the sixth day well satisfied.
Truly yours, JOHN P. GLADDING.
Had tlie Ague for Twelve Years 1
Providence, June 29. 1855.
Having been informed of the illness of a poor, but
worthy woman, who lias not been fre efrurn Fever and
Ague a mouth at a time for l lie last twelve years, 1 sup
plied her gratuitously with Rhodes’ Fever and Ague
Cure. File took in all four bottles which completely re
stored tier to health and strength, and as four months
have now elapsed, there is no reason to doubt the perma
nency of tlie cure.
C. A. P. MASOF, Apothecary.
24 Bottle* Perform 24 Cure*.
Moline, 111.. Sept. 24. 1855.
Mr.. James A. Rhodes —Dear Sir —The box of “ Ague
Cure” you sent us Ims all been sold and created a large
defiiand for more; to meet which we have ordered
from your general agent at Chicago, J. D. Yerriugton.
Its sale will only he equalled by the number of Fever
and Ague eases. Hoping these eases may. be few, yet
have a bottle for every case.
We remain respectfully vours,
RICHARDS k ALLEN.
Louisville No. 11, C. K. K.. Ga., Jan. 1, 1856.
Your Ague Cure hits overcome all prejudice* by its
merits, and given satisfaction. A gentleman just called
who has been fully cored by only one bottle, and de
sired me to recommend it to everybody. 1 shall do all I
can in its sale. W. A. HAY LKS.
Only Caution. —ln certain specified cases, pour
the coutents of one or more bottles of the Cure into
shallow vessels, (dining plates, and place them in
sleeping room-: for tlie vapor rising from the medicine,
and also the air watted across, or circulated over the
dregs of it, after the liquid is evaporated, will counteract
aud .testroy, to a degiee commensurate with its expo
sure, the miasmata or poison contained in the apartment.
This mode of exhibiting the Cure should likewise be
resorted to when very young infants are exposed to
malarious situations.
Tlie bottles in which this medicine is put up have the
words. “Rhodes’ Fevep. and Aoce Cure” blown in the
glass, aud on the outside wrapper is the name of the
medicine, (the copyright of which is secured) aud the
signature of the proprietor. These precautions are
taken to prevent counterfeits and imitations.
The reliance tor its success is entirely upon its
actual merits, wherever introduced and used. These
will he considered sufficient.
