PILLS OF IEOH.
\ N Aperient aud Stomachic proparatiun of Iron
U.X. purified of Uxygou and Carbon by combuetion
m Hydrogen. Sanctioned by the highest medicui
authorities, both iu Luropo and the l nited States,
and prescribed in their practice.
The experience of thousands daily proven that
no preparation of iron cun be compared with it.
Impuritießot the blood, depression of vital energy,
paio aud otherwise sickly complexions indicate its
necessity in almost every conceivable case.
Inoxious in ail maladies in which it hau been
tried, it has proved absolutely curativo in each of
tho following complaints, viz:
In Debili.y, Nervous Affection*, Emaciation,
Dyspepsia, •.•oustipntion, Diarrhoea, Dyßcuteiy,
Incipient Consumption, Scicfulous Tuberculosis,
fclait Rheum, Mismenstruation, Whites, Chlorosis,
Liver Complaints, Chrouic Headaches, Rheuma
tism, Intermittent Fever, Pimples on the Face, Ac.
In cases of General Debility, whether the re
sult of acute disease, or of tho continued diminu
tion of nervous and muscular energy from chronic
complaiuts, one trial ot this Restorative has eu
successful to au extont which no desciiption nor
written attestation would render credible Inva
lids so long bed ridden asiohave become forgotten
iu their own neighborhood, have suddenly re-ap
peared in the busy world as if just returned from
protracted travel in a distant land. Some very
signal instances of this kind are attested of female
sufferers, emaciated victims of apparent maras
mus, Sdiiguinooua exhaustion, critical changes,
and that complication of nervous and dyspeptic
aversion to air and exorcise, for w hich the physi
cian has no name.
In Nervous Affections of all kinds, and for
reasons familiar to medical men, tho operation of
this preparation of iron must necessarily bo salu
tary, for, unlike the old oxides, it is vigorously
tonic, without being exciting and overheating;
and gently, regularly aperient, even in the most
obstinate cases of costivoness, without ever being
a gastric purgative, or inflicting a disagreeable
sensation.
It is this latter property, among ethers, which
makes it so remarkably effectual and permanent a
remedy for Piles, upon which it also appears to
exort a distinct and specific action, by dispersing
the local tendency which forms them.
In Dyspepsia, innumerable as are its causes, a
single box of these Chalybeate Pills has often
sufficed tor the most habitual cases, including the
attendant Costiveness.
In unchecked Diarrhea, oven when advanced
to Dysentery, confirmed, emaciating, and appa
rently malignant, tho effects have been oqually
decisive anu astonishing.
In tho local pains, loss of llosh and strength,
debilitating cough, and remittent hectic, which
generally indicate Incipient Consumption, this
remedy has allayed the alarm of friends and phy
sicians, in several very gratifying and interesting
instances.
In Scrofulous Tuberculosis, this raodicatod iron
has had far more than the good effect of tho most
cautiously balanced preparations of iodine, with
out any of their well known liabilities.
The attention of females cannot bo too confi
dently invited to this remedy and restorative, in the
cases peculiarly affecting them.
In Rheumatism, both Chronic and Inflammato
ry—fn the latter, however, more decidedly—it has
been invariably well reported, both as alleviating
pain and reducing tho swellings and stiffness of
the joints and muscles.
In Intermittent Fevers, it must necessarily bo
a great remedy aud energetic restorative, and its
progress in the new settlements of the West will
probably be ono of high renown and usefulness.
No remedy has over been discovered in tho
whole history of medicine, which exerts such
prompt, happy, and fully restorative effects. G od
appetite, complete digobtion, rapid acquisition of
strength, with an unusual disposition for active
and cheerful exercise, immediately follow its use.
Put up in neat flat metal boxes containing fifty
pilla, price 50 cents per box; for sale by druggists
and dealers. Will be sent froo to any addred3 on
receipt of tho price All letters, orders, etc.,

Conflagration at Dailevllle.
From tho Tallapooßa Times Extra, of
l’riday morning, we learn that about one
o’clock that morning, the entire block of
buildings fronting the North side of the
public square was consumed by fire.—
The loss is estimated at $40,000, with
little covered by insurance. The Times
thinks it the work ol’ an incendiary from
the fact that firo was also discovered ou
the East side of the square while the other
block was burning. The fire on the
East side was discovered in the shavings
under the Turning Lathe of a Cabinet
Shop. The store hopse of J. Newman &
Uro., T. Hatohcr, l’aige & Fleishel, and
tho Grocerv store of L. Davenport, and
retail Grocery of li. S. Smith, and the
Carriage shop of Hendrix, are the prin
ciple buildings consumed. Messrs. Paige
& Fleishl and J. Newman & Bro., were
covered or partly covered by iusuraneo.
