H. WELLS, Surgeon Dentist, from Hartford, 5
having been advised in consequence of ill health, |

abode in Augusta, with a view of becoming a per- J
manent resident. Having invented an instrument
to facilitate the art of filling teeth with gold, he is
enabled to perform the operation on an entire new
principle. This instrument commands a purchase
| which will make the gold more compact than can
| be effected in any other way, and it is done with
out cau>ing the least pain. Those who are dis
posed to doubt this assertion,can be easily sati-Sied
of its truth, by submitting to an operation. The
improved instrument may be applied to all the
teetii but those denominated the front or single
teeth. All operations pertaining to Deatal Surgery
will be faithfully performed.
During the last year, H. Wells received the
prize of SIOO, which was publicly offered to the
Dentist whose work should ,best bear the test of
an examination. A volume of his Treatise on the

dicinal qualities of Opium to the exclusion of it
noxious principles and useless combinations. No
