DR. A. CUNNINGHAM has, for the last twen
years, used the above BILLS, and found them a sa
and useful remedy in costive habits, and in those sick he
aches, arising from a deranged 1 ondition of the digest
organs. When taken according to directions, they nev
fail in assisting to remedy the many evils arising from th
abuse of medicine and improper food.
Many of my former patients continue to use them, ther

necessary to resort to the use of medicine. aprl2-ly

NOTICE TO COTTON PIANTERSL
IMPROVED COTTON GINS.—The subscriber woa'd
inform the Planters of Georgia and the ad jacent States
that he continues to manufacture COTTON GINS of a supel
rior quality, at his factory three miles ea3t of the citv 0 f
MacoD,on the Central Railroad. Having, within the*last
year, enlarged his Factory and made grea t additions to hi,
machinery.and having the very best of workmen, he is now
prepared to supply the country with Gins unsurpassed (<&
any respect) by any made in the United States. The sub.
scriber would not speak disparagingly of any Gin Factory
in the State; yet he think 3 it no presumption to say that
his Gins are more universally approved than those from
any factory. Every Gin sent from his factory within rie
las l year has given entire satisfaction; he has not heard
the first complaint, but has been informed by many, tb«
his Gins are superior in every respect to any th y have
ever seen in use; and in &H probability .there is no other
factory in the Btati that has me t with such success. He
attributes the hue performance of his Gins to the personal
attention which they receive from him in their construe
tion. Every G-in that leaves his factory, is closely inspect
ed by him during the time of its building and afterwards.
He has never desired, neither does he ever intend to, build
more Glos than he can properly see to himself. Therefore
all those who purchase Gins of him, may with confidence
expect a good one, for he assures the public that no other
kind shallleave his shop, as bis undivided attention will ia
future be given to the building of Gins.
As an evidence of their superior qualify, he refers the
public not only to his numerous patrons, but also to the
premium list of the last Agricultural Fair of the State of
Georgia, where it will be seen he took the premium over all
his competitors, (some of whom wers quite formidable )
and injustice to them he would say they exhibited srt-ci
mens of work hard to beat. And as still further evidence
of the character of his gins, he would state that the Com
mittee appointed to award the premium after the exam;,
nation made by them, each purchased a gin from him be"
fore they left the ground. And notwithstanding the hit...
ness of the season, his gins were so much liked by pto de
visiting the Fair, that he sold twenty during the week. He
is well prepared to try all his gins before they leave the" fac
tory; but he deems it unnecessary from the fact that all
his gins are made alike. He does not build a poor gin for
one man and a good one for another. But he will try ail
gins when requested to do so.
Contracts can be made with my traveling agents, or by
letter addressed to me at Macon, Georgia. All orders will
receive prompt attention. 0. W. MASSEY

other makers’ Safes have proved utterly worthless in va
rious accidental and experimental tests, some of which
have occurred recently. Read the following from Messrs.
A. McClure A Co., wholesale and retail dealers in Drugs,

Albany, July 27,1852.
This is to certify, that on the 23d of July, 1852, our en
tire stock, composed of Turpentine, Alcohol, Oil, Paints,
Medicines, Ac., was consumed by fire; so rapid an! severe
was the fire, that we were unable to close our Safe, until
Mr. Pohlman subsequently entered at the peril of his life,
and cloced the doors. On forcing the safe open, a-ter all
this exposure to the fire, which made U 3 fearful for the
safety of its contents, i valuables were found uninjured!
We have so muchcon f ’ lence in the security of the Fire-
King, that we shall immediately replace it by another.
