of Augusta, That all Fodder, Hay and Oats
broil;’,ht to this city ir, wagons or carts for sale,
•hail be weighed at the scales prepared for that
purpose near the lower market
Sr.C. 2d. Be *t further ordained, That it shall
be the duty of the clerk of the lower market to
Superintend tin’ weighing nfail Fodder, Hav and
Oats, at all hours of the day. from sun rise till
sun set. Anti On party selling such Fodder,
Hay or Oats, shall pay to the said clerk fifty cts
foi each wagon, and tweiity-fivt cents for each
cart or dray
Sec. 3d Be it further ordained, That every
person who shall violate the provisions of this

AN ACT to provide for the caII of a
Convention to reduce the number of
the General Assembly of the Stale
of G eorgia, and iur other purposes
therein named.
Be it enacted by the Senate and Hottsi
of Representatives of the State of Geor
gia in General Assembly met , and it is
hereby enacted by the aWhority of the
same , 1 lint the first Monday in April,
1833, be, and the same is here'by design
mtied and set apart as the day on which
the citizens of Georgia qualified lo vote
for members ol the Legislature, sliall ai
the several places prescribed by law
bolding such elections vote fur delegates
to represent them 1 in Convention, iti num
ber equal to their representation in both
branches of the General Assembly; such
elections to be conducted, managed and
certified tinder the same bnv as are of
force in respect to elections of members
of the General Assembly.
Sec. 2. ’And bet it further enacted , That
it shall be the duty of such managers to
transmit to his excellency the Governor
the result of said elections'under the laws
oow offeree for conducting managing and
certifying elections of mentbfirsof General
Assembly as aforesaid, within 30 days af
ter sfich elec'ions—Whereupon it is made
the duty of His Excellency the 'G >vern
<>r to fssue his proclamation declaring the
result of said elections by naming the
individuals severally elected lo represent
the good people of Georgia jp CouveutioH
,t3 contemplated by this act.
Sec. 3, A»d bt it further enacted, Thai
every citizen of the United States shall be
eligible to a seat in said Convention who
has a'tained the age of twentyifive years,
and been an inhabitant of this S ate seven
immediately preceding the day of
hiseiection and who shall have resided
one year in the county far which he shall
he elected.
Sec. 4, And be it further enacted , That
each member returned as duly elected,
shall previous to taking his seat in said-
