Twenty Dollars Reward.
LOST or Stolen, Iron, the Stage, between
Milledgeville and Spatta, on Saturday
night last, a Black Leather Travelling TRUNK,
iM-lougiug to the subscriber and having his name
attached to both handies. It contained a variety
of wealing apparel, a greal portion of which was
marked, together with three bundles, .one of
which was addressed to Mrs. Beers, a Second to
Mr. W P. Beers and the third to Miss Stallings,
all of Augusta. It also contained letters to sev
eral individuals in Augusta, and a number from
that place to the subscriber.

Jail so that 1 get him again. It is believed he is
linking about Augusta and Savannah—and it is
likely that when caught he would not tell his
owner’s name, as he refused to do so on a
former occasion.

Five Dollais Revvard*
1 PURCHASED a Negro Boy, about the first
dHy of the present year from a gentleman in-
Hamburg by the name of Robert Boyce, he re
presented the/boy In me as a negro ai good char
a«.ter. The Boy has runaway from my planta
tion, in Talbot County about the 25th of last
month, and I am informed by the rest of my
negroes, he said if he could get to AugUsla he
woultl be *Hfe, he was taken up and put-iu jail,
in Knoxville, Crawford County, and by some
neglect of the jailor lam iu formed 'he got out
and made itis escape, he is about 18 or 19 years
of age, about 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, a little
’ yellow complected and has n tolerable long
mouth rather inclin and to stick out, hail on when
.he left, pantaloons and t mind jacket of coarse

of Augusts, That all Fodder, Hay and Oats
brought to this city m wagons or carts for sale.

be thd duty of the clerk of thelower market to
superintend tlie-weighirtg of all Fodder, Hav and

ot each wagon, and twenty-five, cents for each
