Town of Alabama.
On the 17 h of August next, will be offered at
inblic sale on the premises, on a credit of one
or two years, a number of lots in the above town,
which is situated on the Alabama river, ten miles
below fort Jackson, and the junction of the Coo
saw and Talapoosa. A further sale of lots in said
town, will be held in Milledgeville on the first
Monday in October next, and continued from day
today during the week—and also at (lie lime of
the sale of the public lands at that place.
Persons desirous of becoming purchasers would
do well to take a view of the town of Alabama—
from the fertility of the soil of that section of the
country, and the commanding situation of the
scite, it mu t vie with any inland town, in the
United States—there are several goods springs on
the town tract, and it is ascertained that excellent
wells of water can be had at very convenient
