Rownnil'n Tonic mixture, or
Vegetable X’nbriftigc,
specific and lasting euro for Fever nnd Ague.
T HIS worthy remedy earnestly repels the slur
of being a quark medicine, it having been
the result of many years study, experience and
labor, in till* medical practice and observation of
Fever and Ague. It i* composed of such medi
cinal principles ns were considered most fit to re
store tlieburmouv ofnetion between the stomach,
liver, nnd the oilier important functions of the
system, tho loss of whichharmony i* evidently tho
immediate cause of the disense. It specdily prn-
motes a regular and healthy appetite which is
generally entirely destroyed or rendered very
precarious; hy which effect, vigor and strength is
soon afforded to the whole system. It must be
apparent to all. that a medicine possessing these
peculiar virtues, j« useful in a great variety of
complaints. By renewing the healthy action of
the digestive organs, it has proved itself of re-
mnrknWo benefit iu dyspepsia, depraved appetite,
heart-burn, water brash, flatulency, jaundice,
night sweats, dysentery, bowel cotnplnints, nnd
all otlipr affections of similar origin, lint it is in
the treatment of Fevers, nnd especially in Fever
and Ague, or Remittent Fever, that its powers
have been principally tested, and with those who
have seen its usefulness. it is pronounced sover
eign to nil remedies heretofore discovered To
those diseases. It has also been used as a pro
ventivn, by many who wore subject to n periodi
cal recurrence of the chills nnd fever, and it hns
always wnrded off the apprehended attack. It
was deemed not impropor to accompany 'the
vegetable fehriflign with a few of tho many une
quivocal certificates politely fiiruished to tho pro-
irietor,corroborative oftho foregoing statements,
■'or further accounts of its great usefulness, see
pamphlets accompanying each bottle.
