PETER’S PILLS.
W E would call attention to the advertisement
in our column? to-duy of PETERS’ VEG
ETABLE PILLS. Wo understand by the. best
medical authority, that there is no preparation of
the day which enjoys so enviable a reputation.
At the South and North, their success has been
unbounded, nnd wherever introduced we believe
they have given the most perfect satisfaction.
We have this day bail un interview with one of
our citizens, Henry K. Fox. who wns recently
cured ofn most reinnrknble and obstinate cuta
neous orjintion, where the body wns covered with
fulsome ulcers, and even tlie tonsils of the thront
enteti nway—and by using those Pills daily for six-
weeks, was entirely restored to health,—JVeto
York Examiner.
PETERS’ VEGETABLE PILLS.
They do indeed restore tlie health oftho body,
because they purify and invigorate the blood, and
their good effects ure not counterbalanced by any
inconvenience; being composed entirely of veg
etables, they do not expose those who urc them
to danger, und their effects nre ns certain ns they
are salutary; they are daily nud snfely adminis
tered to infitney, youth, manhood nud old age, and
to women in tho niostcriticnlnnddelicnte circum
stances, they do not disturb or shock the nnimnl
function*, hut restores their order nnd re-estab
lishes their health; nud for nil the purposes which
a vegetable purgative, or certain cleanser oftlie
whole system ure required, they stand withoitia
rival.

Lc Cordial de Lucine, ou L’El-
cxir dc L'Amour.
W E perceive by the papers tluit the famous
French physician, Dr. Mngnin, has estab
lished an agency for the sale of the Hbove tmnted
extraordinary medicine in this city; aud to speak
the truth, we nre sorry for it, ns we think that
there are too many people ut this part of the
world alrcudy. We dare not enter into an expla
nation oftho wonders effected by this medicine
here, hut will nevertheless venture to add, that it
is the roynlist thing in the world forgcwt/emcMund
ladies who are husbands and wives, and who wish
to ho fathers ond mothers. The agent should take
this medicine to the far west, where people nre
scarce.—Aew York Examiner.
" The Lucine Cordial” is a general invignrator
of the human frame in all ’he various'cases of
latigor, lassitude nnd debilitation, and is nt the
same timo so simple, yet so efficacious, thut while
it cun renovate tho prostrated energies of a giant,
nn iufnntmuy two it. not only with impunity, hut
with ndvmituge. The Lucine Cordial is also nn
indubitable cure for the incontinence oftho urine,
or the involuntary discharge thereof. It is like-
wise nu invaluable mid unrivalled medicine in
cases of chronic eruptions ofthe skin, and in tlie
drnnicul affections ofthe ago.

stages—to which ointment or sticking plaster cun
he applied. Among these certificates, there ure
n great number from the most eminent physicians
in the country, who two the Ointment in their
