To the tnmuier't day.
Ah ! aty heart it tick with longing,
longing for the May.
Ab ! my heart it tore with lighing.
Sighing for the May--

When the summer beams are haraiag—
Hopes and flowers that dead or dying.
All the winter lay.
Ah ! my heart it tore with rigbiag.
Sighing for tho May.
Ah my heart it pained with throbbing,
Throbbing lor the M,y
Throbbing for the seat'- je billows.
Or the water-wooing willows.
Where in laugiuug t>\ subbing
Glide the streams nnay !
Ah ! my heart *'» pained with throbbing,
'Throbbing for the May.
Waiting, gad. dejected, weary.
Waiting for the May.
Spring goeaby with wasted warniugs -
Moonlit evenings, sunbright mornings —
Summer comes, yet dark and dreary
Life still ebbs away—
Man is eYcr weary, weary,
Availing for the May.

DO out us 100 of deaths that annually
occur, are caused by Preveutible Diseases,
and the greater portion of those complaints
would, if Radway’s Ready Relief or Pills
(us the case may require) were adminis
tered when pain or uneasiness or slight
sickness is experienced, be exterminated
from the system in a few hours. Pain,
no matter from what cause, is almost in
stantly cured by the Ready Relief. In
cases of Rheumatism, Neuralgia, Sore
Throat, Diptheria, Colds, Head ache, Tooth
ache, Cramps, Spasms, Bilious Colic, in
fact all Pains, Aches, and Infirmities,
either in the Stomach, Bowels, Bladder,
Kidneys, or the Joints, Muscles, Legs,
Arms, etc., will, in a Jew minutes, yield to
the soothing influence of the Ready Relief.
Every family should keep these life-saving
remedies in the house —can be used on all
occasions, where pain or sickness suddenly
seizes you, or accidents occur—are safe and
rapid in their effects—cau be taken or used
by infants as well as adults—and all who
u-e them, no matter how sick, or great mav
be their sufferings—a few hours in the
worst eases, and a tew minutes in ordinary
complaints, will afford ease and comfort.

If seized with Fever, take four to six of
the Pills every six hours, until copious dis

The same treatment in Fever and Ague,
Yellow Fever, Ship Fever, Bilious Fever,
will effect a cure in twenty lour hours.
When the patient lecl-s the- Relief irritating
or heating the skin, a cure is positive. In
ail eases where pain is felt, the Relief
-should be used.

Perky Davis’ Pain Killer.-—Wo have often
spoken of this great medicine in terms of very
high praise, and we have as often felt that all we
could say in its favor would not do it full .justice.
It is one of those medicines of which we can
speak—and speak decisively—from experience ;
for wo have repeatedly taken it. and invariably
with the best results and greatest satisfaction.
We always koep it on hanJ, ready lor an emer
gency, and we regard it not only as one <4 the
very best medicines in use for various ills, bui
as ono of the cheapest, also. Its cos!, by the
way—that is, the cost ot the ingredients of which
it is composed — has been considerably increased,
but tho price of tho medicine has been but very
little advanced. It is not likely that the popu
larity of Davis’ Pain Killer will in any measure
decrease, or that the demand for it will in tho
elightesi degree decline, until some other specific
for allaying pain and curing various complaints
for w ich it is so generally used, shall be dis
covered, ol equal potency with it—of which
there seems to be but little probability. Asa
remedy for stomach complaints, such as dysen
tery, diarrhoea, etc., tho Pain Killer is, without
doubt, unsurpassed, and evory where most de
servedly in demand. One, two, or three doses,
of a teaspoonfui oncli, in a wine glass of milk
and water, with a little sugar, have repeatedly,
within our knowledge, effectually cured serious
trouble of this kind. Judgment should undoubt
edly be used in checking certain stages of diar
rhoea too suddenly; but taken at tho propor
time, Ihe Pain Killer will act like a charm, and
frequently euro when nothing else will.---Provi

1 BETTER THAN 10
It. R, Ft. Resolvent cures with
astonishing rapidity every form
of Chronic, Scrofulous and Skin
Diseases, and exterminates all
corruption from the human
system.
One bottle of Dr. Radway’s Renovating Re
solvent contains more of the active curative
principles of tho best Jamaica Sarsaparilla,
(Sarsaparillian,) than Ten of the largest size
bottles of the mixture sold under the name
of Sarsaparilla.
The process adopted by Dr. Radway in
securing extracts (prepared in vacuo,) of
Medicinal Roots, Plants, Ilerbs, and other
vegetables possessing great curative proper
ties over Scrofula, Chronic, Syphilitic and
all skin diseases, that enters into the com
position of the Renovating Resolvent, pro
duces only ONE OUNCE of the pure extract
out of 20 lbs. of the crude roots. The Inert
matter that enters so generally in the large
bottle mixtures and prepared under the offi
cinal or pharmacopeia formula, is, by Dr.
Radway’s process, east aside as rubbish.®
Ono teaspoonfui of the Resolvent is suffi
cient for a dose for all Skin Diseases, Salt
Rheum, Pimples, Blotches, Sores and Erup
tions of tho Skin, Humors in the Blood, &c.
One teaspoonfui, three times per day, will,
in a few days, make the Blood pure, the Skin
clear, tho Eyes bright, the Complexion smooth
and transparent, the Hair strong, and remove
all Sores, Pimples, Blotches, Pustules, Tet
ters, Cankers, &c., from tho Head, Face,
Neck, Mouth and Skin. It is pleasant to take,
and the dose is small. ffi
Tho first dose that is taken seizes on the
disease and commences its work of resolving
away all diseased deposit*, Purifying the
Blood, and driving corruption from the
system.
The Renovating Resolvent, if used in any
of the following named complaints, will posi

ALARMING INCREASE OF BLADDER,
KIDNEY and CALCULOUS DISEASES.
The annual reports of the Health Com
missioners of different cities, show a great
increaso of deaths from diseases of the Kid
neys and Urinary Organs—RADWAY’S
RENOVATING RESOLVENT is the only
remedy that has dissolved calculous concretion.
Its SOLVENT, diuretic, lHhontriptie and
ionic properties exceed that of any medi
cine in the world: it readily assimilates with
the fluids, and promotes their exit through
the Kidneys, Ureter and Bladder, removing
calculous obstructions, and correcting all de
rangements of these organs. is
So swift is this remedy in passing into t/iecir
eolation, that it has been detected in the urine in
lix minutes after it has been taken ; by adding
to the liquid when cold a few pieces of starch,
then a few drops of nitric acid, the liquid
wiil change to a blue color. Whon brick
dust, or a thick white deposit, like the white
of an egg, (albumen,) is detected in the Tea
sel, or bloody discharges from the urethra,
or micturating in drops, accompanied by a
burning or scalding pain—the RESOLVENT
should be used, and R. R. RELIEF rubbed
on the spine. &c.
RADWAY’S PILLS being an aperient,
soothing, and tonic laxative, are the only
purgative medicine safe to administer in
these difficulties; their mild, soothing and
healing properties produce evacuations with
out irritating the mucous membranes of the
bowels, kidneys, ureter, bladder, &c., or
cansing straining when at stool.
