Ju PURCHASERS OF GARDEN SEEDS. It is
(elf evident, that unless tile seeds which we may
»ow, ate good in all respects, it will lie folly to ex-
pectfuvuruble results—either we shall he disappoint
ed by their not vegetating, or whnt is still more
vnsatious, lind, after careful culture, that the variety
is'vvorthless:—llow many from tlieir own experi
ence can estimnte tho annoyance of such an event!
Conscious of tho room for improvement, and assured
that tile soeds-mim who should justly bn entitled to
confidence, would receive ample support, the foun
ders ot tho establishment, now coil iucted by the
subscriber, started morn than half a century ngo.
with the determination to sell notldng hut wlmt was
worthy of credit j und that they might tho more cer
tainly accomplish their object, resolved to produce,
as far as possible, tile seeds which they should vend ;
experience having shown them that most imported
seeds could not be relied on, much less those casual
ly collected, and sold ta dealers.—The result was ns
they lia-1 foreseen :—unlimited public confidence.

all its varied forms, Nervous Affections, Lungs und
Liver Complaints. Spinal Affections, Female Weak

ter has no equal. The great celebrity wlii.-h if has
already acquired, not only in the old, but in the new
world, the extraordinary cures it lias performed in
the moBt extreme cases of hutiering, have acquired
for it such a reputation, that the proprietor has not
until recently been able to supply half the demand.
The sales throughout e*v*ry city? town and village
in the United States, are without a parallel!
A circumstance not surprising, when the vnrft n-
mount of human suffering relieved by ifa use i« con

the most decided character. In Nervous Complaints,
nineteen lv-cs out of twenty readily yield t'> the pen

In RheumnHsm. either acute or chronic, the claims
of the Hebrew Plaster have long since been univer

may have originated—even it such persons have been
misguided in previous applications in the use of the
Hebrew Plaster they will find the affected part sud
denly restored to its original soundness.
As a supporter in cases of constitutional weakness
it will be found of great advantage. It is particular

sudden weakness, or general debility. In short, it
embraces all the virtues which the most scientific mind

I feel constrained from a sense of duty to make

unprofessional. Mr. Charles Wade, ofthis city, was
quite low with Pulmonary Consuuintion. ior which I
had been treating with less than'usual success. At

to try Dr. Rogers’Liverwort and 'Par; and I must
confess that its effects were really surprising. Al ter
using the second bottle my visits were discontinued,
and he was soon restored to health. I do con
