borough, between the hours of X and 111 o’clodt, by

The following PROPERTY, viz.
ALL ihnx valuable and well known Rice Plantation,
or Trad! of Land, in the county of Liberty, in
three Separate surveys, containing, on a late refttrvey, 800
acres in the whole, bounded eaftwaidly by lands of John
Lambright, fouthwardlv by lands of John Ellistt, and
northwardly by lands of the Estate of John Hext.
600 Acres, in the said county of Liberty, in two fur.
veys, lying on Gotten which will be more parti
cularly described on the day of sale.
That handsome Situation on Colonel's Illand where John
Mitchell fen. Esq. now resides, containing 130 acres,
bounded weft by lands of the Estate of John Timmons,
northwardly by lands of Peter Winn, Esq. east and south
by fait marsh.
Also the following Negroes, viz. Sambo, Saul, Wally,
Pegg, Role, and Jacob; the fellow Jacob is a carpenter,
and has been run away upwards of two years, is ftili out,
and will be fold as he runs.
__ Two Lots in the Town of Sunbury, known in the ori
ginal plan of the said town by the numbers 23 7 and 238.
The whole of the aboye property seized and taken under
and by virtue of feyeral executions as the jfluperty of John
Mitchell fen. Esq. and pointed out by the said defendant.

Two Negroes, viz. Nelly, a young wench-, and Prince,
a fmaU boy, seized and taken under and by virtue of an
execution as the property of the Estate of William Bacon,
at the fuft of the Administrators of G. Dupont, and point
ed out by the administrator.
50 Acres of Land in the county of Liberty, Commonly
called M‘Gir£s Cowpens, bounded on all sides by vacant
land at the time -of survey, taken under execution as the
property of Robert Sallct, deceased, and pointed out by
the executor. .
Three Negroes, Viz. Dick and Cealy, common field
slaves; and Frank, a cooper; seized and taken under exe
c ution a the property of the Estate of William Norman,
and pointed out by the administrator,
500 Acres of Land in the County of Liberty, bounded
on the east by Samuel Burnley, and on every other fide by
lands vacant at the time ot fiirvey, taken under execution
as the property of Robert C. Baillie, deceased.
Also 200 Acres of Land in tl said county of Liberty,
on North Newport river, adjoining lands of John Dollar,
deceased, seized and taken execution as the property
of. Robert Ofwahl, at the suit of Abraham Leggett, and
pointed out by the defendant.

yard blue iftriped silk and cottoiuftuff, 2 pair sailors dflek
trowfers.
I'he owner is deft red to prove the property, pay charges,
and take them away, within thirty days, otherwise they
will be fold for tlx benefit of the County.

ably to law, against the legality of the three exetu
tsons, signed John Berriex, Treaiurer of the State of
Georgia, against me, as late Tax Colledlor of Chatham
County, for balances of taxes for tlie years 1794, 1795,
and 1796, and having declared on oath that I am not in.
debted to tlie State of Georgia in the sums for which the
said executions have been iftued, I do hereby require you
to desist from expofmg to sale, or from making sale of my
property, levied upon by you as at the suit of the State, anil
to postpone all proceedings thereon, until either the Supe.
rior Court for this -county, or such other Tribunal as may
be deemed conftitutionaily authorized, fhali have decided
on the legality of the laid executions and levies.
