Falmouth, July it. We are sorry to thform our
readers of the capture of the fliips Aurora, Capt. Archibald
Campbell, and Alexander, Capt. Colin Campbell, belong
ing to and bound for Greenock. Thele vcflels had been
detained in this port by the severity of the weather till tlie
28th ult. when they proceeded after the late which
they were in a fair way of joining, when on Saturday the
30th, within a few leagues of Cape Maize, they fell m

to obtain the exchange of an equal number of prisoners.
Oh Friday daft, at the Cornwall Allises, at Savanna la
Mar, Samuel Graham, watchmaker, of Martha Brae, (com
mitted to gaol on Wednesday the 2d May last, as stated
in our paper of the gth of that month, for bruising, burn
ing, and ill trusting, a Negro man slave, named Ned, his
property, by which he Came to his death) was brought to
trial, and found guilty of murder. Sentence of death was
p*fiH <m him on Saturday morning. The day for his ex
ecution is not yet fixed.
Kingftown> (St. Vincent's J July 15. The packet*
with the June mail arriv'd at Barbados on Monda,, and
the mail boat was expected here ere this. We underfland
the accounts received by the packet are, that France had
declared war against America; that two pitched battles had
been fought in Ireland between the King’s troops and the
infurgente, in both of which the latter were defeated with
a a readful carnage; and that Lord Edward Fitzgerald had
died.
A STOUT young man, of a yellowish complexion,
with a fear on his forehead and upper lip, and a bump
an his shin, ran uway from the subscriber, without any pro
vocation, lince lad January, hr well known in Savannah,
being always emplo) ed about house. It is supposed he is
harbored by Negroes in Col. Wylly's swamp, and at Wil
mington, where Capt. Smith plants, and at other islands.
He took with him, £#ongft other clothes, a clay colored
furtout coat.
If Dick returns of his own accord his absence will be o
verlooked; if taken, a reward of 20 dollars will be paid on
delivering him to tlie Keeper of the Workhouse.

he is a cooper by trade. Fanny, his wife, a very likely
young wehlb, iUuu -j fret 6 inches high, drdlcs very
neatly, and has been a house fcrvant. They are well
known about Savannah and moil of tlie plantations in the
vicinity, where they have always lived till lately. It is
luppoled they will lurk about the plantation of George
Millen, Esq. or fome otlier in that neighborhood, from
wlience they will make frequent vilits to the city. Ten
dollars will be paid for the delivery of either of “them fe

Indents of Interest, is suspended until the twelfth day of
