Cuptn'u AVhitmaish, from St. Domingo, in
forms, that a sloop called die Two Friends, of
St. Augustine, from the Coast of Africa with ne
groes, was run ashore about 10 days before he
Bailed:—The negroes had previously risen and
took possession of the vessel, after killing seve-
rui of tile crew, and an American named Tho
mas Winsoiy said to belong to Charleston, and
who acted as Captain—The Spanish Captain,
one sailor, the cnok, and about 30 of tile ne
groes were saved from tile wreck.
