A Hare Chaare for Newspaper Men.
Fiuding, after several years* experience, the duties
ol the editorial chair and tbs cars* of tho proprietor
ship not ouly incompatible, but exhaustive of both
mind and body, I have determined to change my oc
cupation) for one less laborious and exacting. I
therefore offer at private sale The Savannah Rfjmb-
lican, including uowspaper and Job offices.
Of tho rank of tho RrpuUican among the public
Journals of the South, it, perhsps. does not become
ne to speak. Th« public, however, lias been kind
uough to class it among tho foremost in character
and lnliicno*. It is the oldest newspaper iu the
Smith, being now in its seventieth year. It has a
good circulation for tho times, which, withe little
(Tort, may bo largely increased; while with Its local
and general advertls'ng patronage is fully eaqnal to
ttiat of any paper in Urn Stats. Firmly established in
the most prosin'rou* end progressive city of the
South, the Republican cannot fail, with Judlcioua
and energetic management, to yield a large Income
to its proprietors.
The job office is supplied with Press, Typo aud
oth*r material of tho latest stylea, and ha* a custom
that will keep several workmen constantly snd
profitably employed.
The property will be sold for cash. For further
information, apply personally or by letter to the un
dersigned.
