by the Governor that “oar party (Repub
lican) has had control of things in Ohio
for sixteen years, and that no man baa
been able to find any evidence of corrup
tion, fraud, or mismanagement.” Then
how is it that tbe taxes have inoreased
from seven to eight millions in 1866 to
twenty-five millions In 1872 ?

export in order to pay for the toe,-coffee,
