dN motion of the complainants Connfel in the above
cause the following Writ, and Affidavit thereon in-
Jorfed and made, were read : ‘

gentleman, and Mary his wife, formerly the widow of
Thomas Spencer, late of Chriil Church pariffi, planter,
dcceafed; for certain causes offered before our Governor
and Chancellor of our province ofGeorgia, in our Chancery
•four said province, We command and ilriflly enjoin you,
that, laying all other matters aside, and notwithflanding
any-other excule, you personally appear before our laid
Chancellor, in our faui Chancery, on the fourteenth day
of April next ensuing, wheresoever it (hall then be, to
answer concerning those things which ffiall then and there
be objeAed to von, and to do further ard receive what our
iaid Court flvffi ha\c considered in this behalf; and this
you may in no-.vlfe omit, under the penalty of one hundred
pounds refpeJUvcly, and have there this writ. Witnef*

Butler, Thomas Chi'fojm, and Mary his wife, formerly
Mary Spehe+, r were heretofore refidenfs within this pro
vince, that is to fay, the said Shorn Butler in the paiifh of
St. Philip within the fame, and the said Thomas Chifolm
And Mary his wife in the parHh of Clirift Church within
the fame, for a long space of time, that is to fay, every of
them tor upwards of one And the deponent further
fays, That he ins enquired for and searched after the said
Shem Butler, Thomas Ch'lblm, and the said Mary his
wife, for upwards of ten days frnce He received the within
proceft, b\it could not find them, or apy one or more of
them, within this province, so as to serve, or cause them
to be served, with the said process; anerthe deponent fur
ther fays, that he has been informed, and believes, all the
said nerfons so fought for withdrew thernfelves from this
province about the time of the arrival of his Majesty’s
troons about the beginning offhe year one thoufimd seven

A Negro Wench, named Eve,
well known in Savannah, was formerly the pro
perty of the Hon. Graham, Esq. has a remark
able fear occaftoned by a bur# under her jaw, and
has been lately leen in Charlcftown. Whoever
will deliver her to me on Skidaway, the Gaoler in
Savannah, or Mr. Sutcliffe in Charleflown, shall
receive three guineas reward.**££flie returns of her
own accord she will be forgiven.

WHereas adminiflration of all and lingular the
goods and chattels, rightj and credits, within
the said province, of Adam Henderson, late of thd “
parish of Saint Paul, in the province aforfefaid, 4
merchant, deceased, was granted fome time in the
month of September, in the year of our Lord, one
thousand seven hdndred and feventy-five, to Wil
liam Struthers and, John HendeTfon, both of the
parish of Christ ChurcH, id the said province, Es
quires: And whereas the said William Struthers
and John Henderson have this day humbly repre
sented to me, by petition, that they have received
a com'jderable sum of money due the eflateoF their
inteflate, which they have now in their hands;
?nd there are considerable sums of money outstand
ing aid due the said eiiate ; and that there are se
veral demands against the said eflate, w'hich the
said William Struthers and John Henderson are
desirous to pay as far as the monies they have in
their hards will extend; but the said William
Struthers and John Henderson’s bad state of health
will not enable them to make such distribution of
the fame among the creditors as they could wish,
and are defnous to render an account of their said
adminiflration, and pay ill to the said Court what
fmii tlicy have in their hands belonging to the said
4sate, ‘ and.'to pass and of their
diately thereafter difeharged and, dismissed there
from, and from all matters and tilings dependent
theieupon : These are therefore to cite and admo
nish all and Angular the kindred and creditors of
the said deceased, and all and every other person
or persons in any wife interested, to appear before
me, in the said Court, on the fixteentli day of
Augufl next ensuing, at eleven o’clock in the fore
noon, to fee the account'of the adminiflration z
forefaid produced, received, adjufled, passed, and
audited, to make their objetlions if they have any
thereto, and to fuew cause if they can why the said
.William Struthers and John Henderson (hould not
be immediately theteafter difeharged and dismissed
from the adminiflration afoiefaid, and from their
bond or bonds, and all other matters and things
dependent thereupon.

GEORGE, for the space of two years, or during
the present rebellion, have new a fair and honour
able opportunity of revenging thernfelves on the
authors of the many cruel ties and horrid murders
committed on their relations, friends, and fellow
fubjedts; of teftifying their loyalty to the best of
Kings, and manifefting their abhorrence and aver
fioh to this unnatural and unprovoked rebellion;
ly applying to Lieut. Col. George Campbell,
commanding the King’s own American Regiment,
now quartered in this town; who has power tb
raise a body of light horse, to be attached to and
and smart .young reCruit shall receive five guineas
bounty, and a crown to drink his Majesty’s health,
be provided with free quarters, a good horse, pay,
cloathing, arms, accoutrements, and every other
requisite, fit for a light dragoon, such as a cap and
helmet, a brace of good piflols before him, a keen
edged sword by his fide, and good boots and spurs.
Thus equipped as a Gentleman Dragoon, fie mufl
carry sure and certain vi&ory, acquire honour to
hMifelf, and render service to his Sovereign and
injured Country.

the General AlTembly of the said province, entitled, “An.
“ Aft for the Relief of such of his Majesty’s loyal Sub
“ jedls as have iny real or personal Property in the Pro
vince of Georgia, and whose Titles, Deeds, Bonds,
“ Notes, Specialties, and other Evidences, Vouchers,
“ and Writings, have been either loft,- destroyed, or car
“ ried off, during the T-ime herein aftermentioned,” DO
CERTIFY* That John Foulis, of Savannah, Merchant,
hath made a deposition before mS, touching his bonds,
notes* ahd a waste-book for the year 1775, sent by him
to the liland of Jamaica, in the Weft Indies, and hath,
not received the lame : That an exa €t state of all the fum*
of money due to the said John Foulis upon the said bonds,
botes, and orders, has been taken before a Notary Publiclc
in the said island of Jamaica, is now filed in the Protho
notary’s Office, annexed to the petition and affidavit of
the said John Foulis, which deposition and. state of the
bonds, notes, and orders, remain in the Prothonotary*4

and, unless good cause is ffiewn on oath to the contrary,
within four calendar months after the publication of thi*
notice in the Georgia Qarette, I shall declare, by certifi
