last week and were defeated in
both games. The last game was
not satisfactory in the least.

Mr. Walter Beokbam, who
graduated from Emory oollego in
June, has been chosen principal
of the Dallas High School and
will begin his work there in the
fall. This is a splend d and re
sponsible position and Mr. Beck
ham’s friends feel that he will

the reunion of the 1st and 0th
Ga. cavalry at Cedartowu last
week. They say Oedartown did
the nice thing bv the old soldiers.
The next reunion will be held in
Rome,, Mr. Oooper put in a* hid
for Dallas, but was defeated
with a promise of having their
reunion here in 1010.
