Literacy Volunteers of

materials, school handbooks,

the GED program at Lanier
Tech.

Adult Learning Center
offers help
... The Adult Learning
Center at Lanier Technical
College is a place where peo
ple can come for assistance in
several areas preparing for
the GED, learning basic skills
in English and math, or taking
English as a Second
Language. All 11 instructors
have bachelor’s or graduate
degrees.
The GED program has
classes that are open entry,
open exit, to meet the needs of
every student’s schedule. The
ESL program consists of 14
classes scheduled during the
morning, afternoon, and
evening.

The centers open at 9 a.m.

ence, reading and math.
Students who obtain their
GED are sent a voucher for
SSOO that can be used for
tuition at Lanier Tech and
other schools.
