New home for Jesse's House
Board President Steven Morgan, Project Manager Kenneth Mincey, and Interior
Design Committee Chair Ann Ammons are pictured in the kitchen of the new Jesse’s
House. The shelter, which first opened five years ago, has moved into a new facility
that will increase the center’s capacity. The shelter was completed with local funds
matched by an anonymous donor. A ceremony on Sunday marked the completion of
the new shelter, which includes a library, entertainment room, and a spacious kitchen
and dining area.
