Children’s Diabetes
Support Group
... Do you have a school age
child with diabetes? I am inter

group for children and their
parents coping with this dis

The idea is to get together
periodically for fun events,
fundraising and diabetes advo

they are not tackling this alone.
We can divide the group by
age if appropriate.
This is also a great way for
teenage diabetics to pick up
some babysitting jobs.

Think First Injury
Prevention program
... Each year, about 12,000
people in the United States will
become paralyzed by spinal
cord injuries, and another
500,000 will acquire a brain
injury. Fifty percent of these
injuries will happen to young
people between the ages of 15

By working with area mid

person with a spinal cord injury
educates students on avoiding
violence and promoting safety
in driving, diving, hunting,
bicycle riding to reduce the
number of spinal cord and
