Patino Hxbself Off.—On Thursday morning last,
a colored woman who was employed by Mr. William
Swoll, aa a servant, commenced her service by wash
ing several dozen pieces of clothing, consisting of
dresses, shirts, towels, Ac. On yesterday morning
she had them folded up neatly preparatory to ironing,
when she suddenly became tired of work, and de
camped, taking all the clothes with her, in payment
for one day’s labor. The name of the woman was not
known to Mr. Swoll, but as it is probable she may
offer some of the stolen articles for sale, any person
giving information will confer a favor upon the loser.
The woman had a blemish in the left eye, the only
mark observable about her.
