an aero, and yeihled 343 gallons of
syrup, after 6000 stalks had been

the 1 odder from the cane, and con
siders it more than paid him for the
cultivation. Allowing Mr. Rogers’
low estimate for the value o( his fod
der to be correct, he would then have
the following amount (or his syrup
and seed cane: Syrup, at Oficts per
gallon, §222 95; 5000 stalks seed cane,
at (35cts per 100 stalks, $32 50. To

i'he Huntington, (Pa) Monitor of April 5'
1877, pronouno es this Soap the best in the
market, as follows .-
Reader, we don’t want you to suppose that this
is ao advertisement, and pass it over unheeded
Read it. We want to direct your attention to
the advertisement of ‘ Crampton’s Imperial
Soap.” Having used it in our office for the past
year, wo can recommend it as the best quality
of soap in use. It is a rare thing to get a Soap
that will thoroughly cleanse printing ink trom
the hands, as also from linen; but Crampton’s
laundry soap will do it and we know whereof
we speak. It is especially adapted for prin
ters, painters, engineers and machinist, as it
will remove grease of all descriptions from
the hands as well as clothes, with little labor.
For general household purposes it cannot be
excelled.
