Announcement is made by Mrs. H.
W. Jarrell of Butler of the marriage
of her daughter, Lillouise Windham
to Clarence J. McCrary' of Rey
nolds, the marriage taking place
April 14, 1940 in South Georgia.
The bride is the attractive daugh
ter of Mrs. Jarrell, and a sister of
Mrs. Raymond Cooke, of Griffin, and
Miss Frances Windham, of this city.
She was graduated from Butler High
school in 1938, after which she at
tended the G. A. B. School of Com-
merce.
Mr. McCrary is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. G. G. McCrary of Reynolds. He
graduated from Reynolds High
school in 1934, then going to Abra
ham Baldwin Agricultural College,

TEACH IN TAYLOR COUNTY
SCHOOLS PAST 34 YEARS
The Herald is advised that this Is
the first time in thirty-four years
that Taylor county's public schools
have opened without one or more of
Judge J. L. Uustin's. children being;
employed aa a teacher in the county.
However, at the present there is not
one of this family teaching in the
local schools, although Miss Ruby
Rustin is employed on the faculty
of Shiloh school in Harris county.

The vows were spoken before an
improvised altar of woodwardia ferns
and southern smilax, with yellow
candles in cathedral candelabra. Tall
princes baskets of yellow dahlias and
marigolds flanked the altar and
were used throughout the reception
suite.
During the ceremony a program of
soft nuptial music was played by Mr
Walsh and Miss Davis.

The bridegroom had as his best

The candles were lighted by Bill
Porter, brother-in-law of the bride.
The bride, entering on the arm of
her father, was lovely in a fall model
of blue velveteen with wine access
ories. Her boquet was of pink radi
ance roses.
Mrs. Gilbert Spencer Stovall, mo
ther of the bride, wore a handsome
fall ensemble of navy blue sheer
crepe with matching accessories, and
a corsage of roses in shades of pink
and rose.
Immediately after the ceremony,
Dr. and Mrs. R. W. Hall entertained
the members of the bridal party,
relatives, and intimate friends of the
bride and groom at a reception.
