Compromise Military
Bill Has $19
Million for Georgia
WASHINGTON—Senate and House
conferees Thursday agreed on a
compromise military construction
appropriation bill which includes
nearly $19 million for Georgia mil
itary projects.
Major Georgia projects were $9,-
721,000 at Fort Benning, $3,627,000
at Turner Air Force Base near Al
bany, $2,040,000 for Ft. Stewart, and
$1,524,000 for Robins Air Force Base
near Macon.
Other projects include $600,000 for
the Glynco naval air station $520,-
000 for the Air National Guard at
Travis Field in Savannah, and $163,
000 for the naval reserve at Way-
cross.
Also allotted were $90,000 each
for National Guard armories at
Sparta, Baxley, Glennville, Hines-
ville, Jesup, Moultrie and Tifton.
The committee-approved version
of the construction bill must now be
voic'd on by both Senate and House
before going to President Kennedy
for signing.

same having been duly transferred

all; thence in an easterly direction-
tion 105 feet to a point; thence in
a northerly direction 210 feet to
Catridge Road, bounded on the east
and south by other lands of Nel
son Woodall, thence parallel to and
on the south side of Catridge Road
in westerly direction 105 feet to
the point of beginning. This lot be
ing a portion of that certain tract
of land as contained in a Deed as
recorded in Butler, Georgia, Taylor
County, Jan. 12, 1952 in Deed Book
4, page 465-466, and being in Land
Lot 63, Land District 14 of Taylor
County, Ga.
Default having occurred under
the terms of the note secured by
said deed, and the holder having
elected to declare th eentire debt
due and payable, the power of sale
contained in said deed has become
operative.

Swimming Pool and Recreation

as provided by law.
