Th* mw size Dodge Dart has the most powerful
standard six engine in the business. It develops
146 horsepower from 226 cubic inches. It takes a
V8 in other cars priced near Dart
to keep up with it. Even then most
of them can’t Dead weight and
useless overhang have been all
but eliminated in the ’62 Dart
What results Is an astonishing
power-te-weight ratio that makes
a Dart-6 act like an eight. And
remember, this Is the same six that got better
than 23 miles to the gallon in last year’s Mobil-
gas Economy Run. Frankly, we don’t think any
body but a pro can gat this kind of mileage. But
it dees give you an idea of the engine’s potential.
Repeated tests in the new size Dart prove that it
will deliver at least 5% better gas
economy than last year. See your
Dodge Dealer now and drive the
new size Dodge Dart. There’s no
better value on the market today.
