Man Returning
“Cave” Age
(By W. C. Woodall)
Man is getting back to the caves,
his first refuge.
It took him possibly millenniums
to get out, so great and terrible
were the wild beasts, so feeble his
defense.
He is no w getting back to the
caves quickly, the return trip is
not taking much time.

The mole at last has competition.
Possibly he shouldn’t have enjoyed
his monopoly so long. But when
competition did come, it was fierce
enough. The mole used only his

is employing great machines and

mole look silly.

“Not On Sunday Night”
I love the Church that Jesus
Brought
She is this dark world’s light;
I always go on Sunday morn,
But not on Sunday night.
I love to sing the Gospel’s songs
And worship in daylight;
That’s why I come on Sunday
morn,
But not on Sunday night.
I love to hear the Gospel born,
It gives me such delight;
It thrills me every Sunday
morn,
But not on Sunday night.
I’d go through storm and rain,
or snow
Do anwthtng that’s right,
To be at church on Sunday morn;
But not on Sunday night.
I hope the faithful few keep on
Engaging in the fight;
I’ll do my part on Sunday morn,
But not on Sunday night.
Too bad some day we all must die!
I hope that morn is bright,
But I want to die on Sunday morn,
And not on Sunday night.
I know that Christ is coming soon,
And He will find me right
If he appears on Sunday morn;
But not on Sunday night.
The Holy Spirit sent this poem,
It set my heart aright;
You’ll see me there next
Sunday morn,
And also -- Sunday night!

charge of the caves.
The objective is to get under

The spirited competition is who
can get there first.
Twelve Easy Rules
For Delinquency
Want to be sure your child will
become a juvenile delinquent? The
Houston, Tex., police department
has a list of 12 rules for raising de
linquents. The list has become
famous because it has been wide
ly reprinted around the country.
Here’s the 12 rules, in case you
want to see how you are measur
ing up.
1. Begin with infancy to give the
child everything he wants. In this
way he will grow up believing the
world owes him a living.
2. When he picks up "bad”words
or “dirty” words, laugh at him.
That will make him think he is
"cute”. He will run off and pick up
some other words that will blow
the top off your head.
3. Never give him any spiritual
training Until he is 21, and then let
him decide for himself. By the
same logic, never teach him the
English language. Maybe when he
is old enough he will want to
speak Bantu.
4. Praise him in his presence to
all the neighbors; show how much
smarter he is than the neighbor’s
children.
( 5 - Avoid the use of the word
“wrong”. It may develop in the
child a “guilt complex.” This will
prepare him to believe that when
he is punished later on for steal
ing cars or assaulting women that
society is “against him” and that
he is being "persecuted.”
6. Pick up everything after him;
his shoes, his books, his clothes. Do
everything for him, so that he will
be experienced in throwing bur
dens on others.
7. Let him read anything he
wants. Have no concern whatever
for what goes into his mind. Pro
vide him with hygienic cups for
his lips, but let his brain drink
out of any dirty container for
words and ideas.
8. Quarrel frequently in the pres
ence of your children. In this way
they will be prepared for broken
homes later on.
9. Give him all the spending
money he wants; never let him
earn his own.
10. Satisfy every craving of the
child for food, drink and everything
that has to do with the sense of
taste and touch, gratifying every
sensual desire.
11. Take his part against police
men, teachers and neighbors. They
are all “prejudiced” against your
child.
12. When he gets into real trou
ble, always defend yourself and
say, “I never could do anything
with him.”

, We know full well that profit is as necessary to
the American way of life as water and sun are to crops
in the field. We’re all for folks making as much legi
timate profit as they can ...
Electric co-ops, however, are not concerned with
profit, for a very simple reason: Electric co-ops were
organized, and are operated, under planned, non
profit regulations.
Electric co-ops are designed to provide a service,
nothing more, which their Member-Owners could get
in no other way. Rates are set for these Members
which are sufficient to enable the co-op to operate on
a bysiness-like basis, paying back their REA loans,
with interest. If there is any money left over at the
end of the year, it is credited to each member,
proportionately.
There’s certainly nothing wrong with profit. It’s
just that our business is organized only for service!
