The happy couple were “made one” in the 1

The cars approach reminded the bridegroom
that the hour of their departure was at hand, !

, The Til2inglui*t Patent Portable
Fence.
Mh. Editoii: I wish, through your
paper >o bring into notice the peculiar
: merits of this fence. Superiority may
| be claimed fur it, in that, Ist. Ir L
; movable: 2d. It is secure: 3d. It is du
. ruble: 4th. It is economical: sth. It is
; simple. It is a movable fence. This
lis the mam point. The panels are
i held together by simply interlocking-
Ino pins; no nails; and whenever de
| sired they can be readily taken apart
and thrown at once in to anew line.—
And yet the security of the fence is al
most perfect. The pme Is are doubly
locked; and while the entire fence can
be easily taken duvyn, beginning at one
extreme, tho panels can hardly be dis
joined by any force applied to them di
rectly. Each panel is braced by all
the rest; and, so long as the extremi
ties fire held fast, the whole line is
proof against cattle, or winds, or mis
chievous hands. So that, ou the sim
ple conditon mentioned, the security of
the fence at every point is equal to the
strength of the lumber. That it is ex
ceedingly durable none can question.
There are no posts in the ground to
rot. The lower points of the supports
may rest on a brick or a stone; and
should they even give signs of decay
the pannels can he promptly reversed—
“bottom rail on top” and all as good
as new; and this without the drawing
or driving of a nail. Small enclosures
for cattle-pens or other purposes can
be made by simply bringing a few pan
els together in the form of a triangle,
a square, or a circle. There are made
entirely secure, while at the same time
they can bo moved from one place to
another without the trouble of disjoint
ure. Then, the cost is at least fifty
per cent, less than that ox an ordinary
post and plank fence. This applies
equally, whether made by a regular
mechanic at panel rates or by a com
mon hand employed on the farm. The
construction is so simple that any field
hand can make the panels with ease
and rapidity. This work can be done
on rainy days under a shelter; and the
panels, thus completed, can be hauled
out when needed and locked into line
with the greatest facility. The fence
can be easily adjusted to any situation;
running over elov; tions or depressions
without the least difficulty.
I have purchased tho right of this
fence for this couuty and several coun
ties adjacent, and also for the State of
Alabama. lam prepared to sell farm
rights, and county rights, on reasona
ble terms. John T. Norms.

DISEASES OF THE BLOOD.
‘ The life of flesh Is in the Blood,” is a Scriptural
maxim that science proves to bu true. The people
talk of bad blood, as the cause of many diseases, and
like many popular opinions this of bad blood is found
ed in truth.
The symptoms of bad blood are usually quite pla’n
— bad Digestion — causes imperfect nutrition, and con
sequently the circulation is feeble, the soft tissues loose
their tone and elasticity, and the tongue becomes pale,
broad, ar and frequently covered with a pasty, whitecoat..
This condition soon shows itself in ro ugh nets of the
skin, then in ERUPTIVE arid ULCERATIVE diseas
es, and when long continued, results in serious lesion3
of the Brain, Liver, Lungs, or urinary apperatas.—
Much, very much, suffering is caused by impure blood
It is estimated by gome that one-fifth of the hunian
family are effected with scrofula in some form.
When the Blood is pore, you are not so liable to any
disease. Many impurities of the Blood arise front
impure diseases of large cities. Eradicate every itn
puiity from the fountain of life, anil yood spirits, fair
skin and vital strength will return to you.

DISEASES OF THE KIDNEYS AND BLADDER.
Persons unacquainted with the structuro and func

of their healthy action ,
Regular and sufficient re so, of, the Kidneys is as

it should not be trifled with or delayed, but Koskoo

Diseases of the Nervous System.
Almost nine-tentha of our people suffer from nervous
exhaustion, and are, therefore, liable to its concomit

to-day witli broken-down nervous systems, and. un
fortunately, tobacco, alcohol, late hours, over-work,
(mental and physical), are causing disease* of the
nervous system to increase at a fearful ratio.
The symptoms to which diseases of the nervous sys

feeling in the head, sometimes more or ess severe pain
or headache ; Periodical Headache, Dizziuess, Noises
or Ringing in the Head, Confusion of Ideas ; Tempo
