T HE best Thrift School is the bank.
Bring your boy or girl in to start an
account. Then encourage the child
to add to the balance when money is
earned. There are many odd jobs that
boys and girls can do, outside of school
hours, that will bring in money. Some of
it should go into the bank.
The art of saving learned early is a lifelong
asset. Start your children on the saving
road; success lies that way.

On July 13th. the sweet little spirit
of Edtty. dough ter of Mr. and Mrs.
Fred Colfc, (Missed to the great beyond.
She had been sick for some months;
her sufferings were great indeed. She
lived to bless and brighten the home
only two years. How sad that the
sweet little jewel was taken away!
But weep not dear father, mother,
brother and loved ones; we know how
sad and lonely the home now is with
out that sweet childish voice and
smile. We know your hearts are
breaking for your sweet little daugh
ter; but weep not, but think of that
happy meeting on the other shore
when your tears shall be wiped a way.
Dear friends, I cannot give you
comfort in this dark hour; but turn
to Him who will never forsake you in
the hour of trouble—He alone can give
comfort to your broken hearts. May
God bless you In this dark hour and
give you comfort and assurance. May
God guide and bless those that are
left to mourn their loss.
