Francis Nixon, has applied to me for
a discharge from her guardianship of
Francis Nixon, this is therefore to ro
tif.v all pei'sons concerned, to file their
objections, if any they have, on or be¬
fore the first Monday in December
next, else Mrs. Ada 0. Sanders will be
discharged from her guardianship as
applied for.

Petition for Charter.
STATE OF GEORGIA, County of
Monroe. To The Superior Court
op Said County :
The petition of Samuel Ruther¬
ford and John H. Phinazee shows
the following facts:
First. That they are residents
of said state and county, and de¬
sire to be incorporated for a peri¬
od of twenty (20) years under the
style and name of RUTHER¬
FORD— PHINAZEE COMPANY.
Second. That the object.of said
corporation is pecuniary gain,
and the capital stock to be Ten
Thousai)d($10,000.00) Dollars, all
of which has been actually paid
in ; and they ask to be incorporated
under the name above set out. and
with the right to increase their
capital stock to Fifty Thousand
($50,000 00) Dollars, or any sum
under that that a majority of the
stockholders may agree upon. The
capital stock of said company to
be issued to the incorporators at
the par value of Fifty($50 00)
Dollars per share.
Third. Said corporation is to be
domiciled at Forsyth, Georgia,
Monroe County, with the right to
establish agencies or places of bus¬
iness at such other points as the
majority of the stockholders may
agree upon. The purpose of said
corporation being to engage in the
business of traders, to wit, the
buying and selling of live stock,
buggies, wagons, harness, etc.,
and general merchandise.
Fourth. Petitioners desire the
right to buy or sell such real es¬
tate as it may be necessary for
them to own or receive m the
conduct of their business; the
right to sue and be sued ; to have
and use a common seal; to pass
such rules or by laws as may be
necessary iu the carrying out the
purposes of this incorporation ; to
create such liens or make such
alienations of property as may be
necessary in the proper conduct of
the business of said corporation.
Wherefore petitioners pray that
they be incorporated under the
name of RUTHERFORD—PHIN¬
AZEE COMPANY, with the right
to associate such other parties
with them under said name as
they may see fit, said corporation
to have all the rights and privi¬
leges herein prayed for, and such
other rights and privileges as may
be necessary or incident to said
corporation.

Petition For Charter.
GEORGIA, Monroe County. To
The Superior Court Of Said
County:
The petition of B. F. Jones. M.
W. Roberts and W. P. Towery
respectfully shows unto the court:
First. That they desire for
themselves, their associates and
successors, to be incorporated un¬
der the name and style of the
B F. Jones Lumber Company,
for twenty years.
Second. The principle office
and place of business of the incor¬
poration shall be in the county of
Monroe, state of Georgia ; but it
is desired to have the right to es¬
tablish branch offices and places
of business within this state or
elsewhere, whenever it shall be so
determined by a vote of the ma¬
jority of the stockholders.
Third. The object of said in¬
corporation is pecuniary gain ti
itself and shareholders.
Fourth It is proposed by the
said incorporation to carry on a
general lumber business; to man
ufacture, buy and sell, and other¬
wise deal in lumber, both dressed
and undressed; to purchase, con¬
trol and dispose of machinery for
dressing and manufacturing lum¬
ber. and such other machinery or
impliments as may from tune t"
time become proper for the suc¬
cessful conduct of said business;
to purchase timber standing upon
land, as well as to purchase such
land as may be necessary to pro¬
perly carry out the powers and
priveliges herein enumerated, to
loldsami, to farm or otherwise
manage it to the best advantage,
end to dispose of it as to the said
i corporation may seem io the
u«st interests thereof; to execute
and to receive notes, checks, mort
gages and all other such commer
cial papers as may be necessary to
properly carry on said business;
and to do all other and further
acts necessary to be done in the
daily transaction of a business of
the nature and character proposed.
Fifth. The capital stock of said
corporation shall be Ten Thous¬
and ($10,000 00) Dollars, to be di
vided into shares of One Hundred
($100 00) Dollars each. Of the
amount of capital to be employed
by said incorporation, Eight
Thousand($8,000 00) Dollars has
been actually paid in The priv¬
ilege is desired of increasing the
capital stock to Twenty Thousand
($20,000 00) Dollars by a majori¬
ty vote of the stockholders of the
incorporation, at any time they
should see fit to do so.
Sixth. Petitioners further de¬
sire for the said incorporation the
right to sue and be sued, to plead
and be impleaded, to nave and
use p common seal, < o make all
necesary by-laws and regulations,
and to do all other things necessa¬
ry for the proper conduct of said
business, including the right to
purchase, hold and sell such real
estate or personal property as may
be suitable to tiie business of the
said incorporation, to execute
notes and bonds as evidence of in¬
debtedness and to properly secure
the same as provided by existing
laws.
Seventh. Petitioners desire for
said incorporation the right of re¬
newal when and as provided by
the laws of Georgia; and that it
may have such other rights, pow¬
ers, privileges and immunities aB
now are, or may hereafter be, in¬
cident to like corporations cr per¬
missible under the laws of the
State of Georgia.
Wherefore, petitioners pray to
be incorporated under the name
and style aforesaid, with all the
rights, privileges and immunities
herein s--t forth, and such as are
now, or may hereafterlie, allowed
a corporation of similar character
under the laws of Georgia.
And your petitioners will ever
pray.
