In view of the fact that every member of
the human family is more or less subjected to
some of the above complaints, besides in*
numerable other conditions in life, which
by the assistance of a little knowledge o.
exercise of common sense, they n*y be able
so to reguTSto their habits of diet, and with
the assistance of a good tonio, secure per
manent health. In order to accomplish thil
desired objeot, the true course to pursue is,
certainly, that which will produoe a natural
state of things at the least hazard of vital
strength and life; for this end Dr. Hostetter
has introduced to this country a prepara
tion called HOSTETTER’S St6mAOH
BITTERS, which at this day is nx a new
medioine, but one that has been tried for
years, giving satisfaction to all who hava
used it. The Bitters operate powerfully upon
the stomach, bowels and liver, restonnp

generally contracted by new settlers, and
caused principally by the change of water
and diet, will be speedily regulated by a
brief use of thm preparation. Dyspepsia,
a disease which is probably more prevalent
when taken in all its various forms, than
any other; the cause of whioh may always
bo attributed to derangements of the diges
tive organs, can bo cured without fail by
using HOSTETTER’S STOMACH BIT
TERS as per directions on the bottle. For
this disease every physician will recom
mend Bitten of some kind, then why not
use an article kuown to be infallible?
Evciy country have their Bitters as a pre
ventive of disease, and strengthening of
tho system in general, and among them all
there is not to be found a more healthy
people than the Germans, from whom this
preparation emanated, based upon scientific
experiments which has attended to advanoa
the destiny of this great preparation in the
medical scale of soience.
FEVER A STD AGUE.
This bring and provoking dJoesse, which fixes llg
relentless grup on the body of man, reducing him to
a men shadow in a short space of time, and rendering
him physically and mentally useless, ean be defeated
and driven from tho body by tho use of HOSTETTER’S
RENOWNED BITTERS. Further, any of the above
stated dlsoetea can not be contracted when exposed to
any ordinary conditions producing them, if the Bitten
are need as per directions. And at It neither creates
unsea nor offends the palate, and rendering unneces
sary any change of diet or Interruption to ueual pur
suits, but promotes sound sleep and healthy digestion,
tho oomplulnt It thus removed as speedily as lx con
sistent with the production of a thorough and perma
nent cure.
For Persons in advanced years
Who aro Buffering from an enfeebled constitution and
infirm body, these Bitten are Invaluable ai a restora
tive of strength and vigor, and needs only to bo tried
to bo appreciated. And to a mother white nuning,
these Ritters aro indispensable, especially where tbe
mother s nourishment is inadequate to the demands
of the child, consequently her strength must yield,
and here it it where a good tonic, such as lloetetter’s
Stomach Bitten is needed to Impart temporary strength
and vigor to the system. Ladies should by all moans
try this remedy for all caws of debility, and before so
doing, ask your physician, who, if ho Is acquainted
with tho virtues of the Bitten, will recommend their
use in all cases of weakness.
CmiON.—Wo caution the public against
using any of the many imitations or coun

has the words “ Dr. J. Hoe tetter’* Stomach

icrc is genc-
janied with a painful sensation of having
eft undone something which ought to have
been done. A slight, dry cough is some
times an attendant. The patient complains
of weariness and debility; he fs easily startled,
his feet are cold or burning, and he com-
ilains of a prickly sensation of the skin;
lis spirits arc low; and although he is satis
fied that exercise would be beneficial to him,
yet he can scarcely summon up fortitude
enough to try it. In fact, he distrusts every
remedy. Several of the above symptoms
attend the disease, but cases have occurred
where few of them existed, yet examination
of the body, after death, has shown the
liver to have been extensively deranged.

PIMPLES ON THE FACE, ROUGHNESS OF
THE SKIN, etc.
The IRON being absorbed by the blood, and
thus circulating through tha whole system, no
part of tho body can escape their truly wonder
ful influence
The experience of thousands daily proves that
no preparation of Iron can for a moment ba
compared with it. Impurities of the blood, de
pression of vital energy, pale and otherwise
sickly complexions indicate its ncoesslty in al
most every conceivable cose. In all eases of
female debility (finer albus, chlorosis, etc.), its
effects are delightfully renovating; No remedy
has ever been discovered, in the whole history
of medioine, which exerts such prompt, happy,
pnd fully restorative effects. Good appetite, com
plete digestion, rapid acquisition of strength,
with an unusual disposition for active and
cheerful exercise, immediately tallow its use.
As a grand stomachio and general restorative
it has no superior and no substitute.
