of his Railroad Map. This Map rep-

ing through Portland, Boston, New
York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Wash

of this chain of roads, is its close ap

the distance between the two termini
mliblilcss than by any other route now

L JSTlIon. John J. Crittenden, in his

was very severe on the disunionists.—
lie said, in apostrophizing thorn —
“Don’t break my country into frag

tions that are to beso happy. You will
pull down the groat Confederacy—you
will pull down tho American Constitu
tion upon the bond of the American
people—and yon offer yourself to me as
the men to build up half a dozen little
shanties here, and call thorn. Constitu
tions. (Applauso.) I say to them,
‘Begone! you poor tricksters! you mis-
entitle, conceited set! You talk about
pulling down the work that the hands
of Washington laid the corner stone of;
you talk of pulliug down the great gov
ernment made by tlie hands of.revolu
tionary patriots—made by the bands of
Madison, and Monrod; and Hamilton,
and gli the great names that .figure in
^-our early and virtuonus days. You
L talk about pulling it down and giving
| us a better government 1 (Applauso.)
Why, gentlemen, there is nn amount
“ of scorn with which that sot of fellows
<lo not deserve to.be treated.
Tub Emm-bk or Disunion.—The Mont

“For the past few days, we have no

the number is about in the proportion
of nngel’s visits. The peculiar beauty
of tins Southern emblem, however, is
that it is made out of Northern silk, ap

8®* The disunionists of the South
are figuring arid arguing tho benefits to
accrue from tho-breaking up of the Gov-

South is not all Cotton, will they be good
enough to turn their attention to the
benefits to bo derived from their pana

Virginia and Kentuoky, especially ?—
As they are now. going upon the dollar

^SS-Thoro are two things that become
early impressed up-m every mother’s mind:
the necessity of a frequent resort to worm

as readily as they do oandy. and the cure
that follows is fur more prompt and certain
than it is from nauseous am. sickening doses
