In this place on yesterday morning at 8
o’clock, Jonathan Green Baker, son of Tho's.
H. Baker, formerly of this county but now of
Texas, aged about 24 years. The deceased
has been sick but about ten days, his disease
is said to have been acute inflamation of the
liver.
Thus within the space of a few days, the
hand of death has been laid upon two young
gentlemen of our county, tnueh est?emed for
their probity and uprightness, and respected by
all who knew them. Just verging into the bus
iness of life, they give much promise ofusefui-
ness, and looked forward to a bright and suc
cessful career, but ere the first traits of their
labor had been garnered, the unsparing hand of
death sweeps them, young and buoyant from
the Hall of life. Peace to their ashes, and rest
to their spirits.

DR. GUYSOTT’S
• IMPROVED EXTRACT Of
bellow $>ock Sarsaparill-i,
OR the cure of all diseases or disorders
_ impure blood, its great success justly
entitles it to the name of the great American
specific. . ,
So iar as it is known it is universally appre
ciated. and many eminen’. physicians use it dai
ly iu their practice with the most happy effects,
aud certify that it is tlie best extract iu exis
tence, and the only one that stands the test ot
Every year adds io its great popularity, and
multiplies its astonishing cures. 1 lie-victim
of Hereditary Scrofula, with suppurating
glands, honey-combed llesh, and caries eating
into his bones, finds Guysott s Yellow Dock
and Sarsaparilla a balm lor his aiiietion. His
horrible torments are assuaged, aud his malady
riot only relieved, but permanently cured.
It may be sately asserted, from the results
of past experience, that “Dr. Guysott’s Ex-
tra^t of Yellow Dock and Sarssaparilla, 5 is,
bevohd all comparison, tlie most wonderful
remedy oil earth idllowirig diseases and ail
others proceeding from vitiated blood: SVrolu-
-la or King’s Evil, Atheumatism,Obstinate U,m-
neous Eruptions, Pimples or Pustules on the
face; Blotches, Boils, Chronic bore Eyes, King-
worm or Tetter, Scald Head, Enlargeim n. and
Pains ofthe Bones andJoint s, Stubborn Ul
cers. Syphiltie Lumbago, and Diseases arising
from an injudicious use ot Mercury, Aiutes os
Dropsy, Exposure or Imprudencem Lite, Liv
er Complaint Ague and Fever, Intermitting 1- e-
ver, Cholera Morbus Dysentery, Diarrhoea,
Plethora of Blood in the Head, Piles, Pains in
the Back, Sides, Breast or Loins, and all tonus
of Muscular, Glandular, and Skm diseases.
It a sovereign specific toi General Debility,
and the best renovator for a Broken Constitu
tion. It braces and reinvigorates every organ,
promotes activity and regularity in every iune-
tion, aud produces that condition ol the whole
physical system which is the best sccunty tor
^Letaii who wish to purge the. blood from
the impurities contracted trom the tree luaul-
gencc of the appetite during the winter, and to
prepare the system to resist summer epidemics,
resort now to “Guysott’s Extract of Ye low
Dock and Sarsaparilla,” which is proving itself
an antidote for many of the most malignant-
diseases that flesh is heir to, and they wifi nei-
er be disappointed, for in this remedy the pub
lie faith has never wavered—never can waver
for it is founded oil experience, just as their
want-of faith in other an .1 spurious compounds
is also founded in experience, d hey tly from
mineral nostrums to seek hope, life, aud vigor
from this purely vegetable remedy. Therefore
however broken down in health and spirts,,
however loathsome to hnuseli and others, let
no one despair of recovery; let the patient only
understand that this hope of physical restora
tion lies only in “GuvSott’s Extract ot Yellow
Dock and Sarsaparilla,” and persuade him for
his fife’s sake to try it, and we have no hesita
tion in predicting his speedy restoration to
health.
Asa means of regulating all the functions
of woman’s delicate organization, it has .no
equal in the materia medica, aud at that, critieai
period of fife when the first stage of her decline
commences, its cordial and invigorating prop
erties wifi enable her to pass the crisis safe
ly.
