Brother Biley;
As is generally knowD, and as you have to

From time immemorial partings have al

With oompassionate tenderness suoh feel
ings are in our hearts tonight.
But as you are to leave, it gives mo pleas

friends who have obarged me thus, to pre
sent to you this souvenir in token of their
esteem for yon and your family, aDd in ap

year.
All these people will ever hold yon iu laa‘-

us to preside in new fields, their best wish

may light your pathway through this lile.
The], therefore, beg that yon accept this,
not for its iotrinsio value, but as a mark

And when in future days you look upon

deepest love and reverenoe of these loyal
hearts.
