Appointment Confirmed.
Msj. Wm. Gallaher, Sandersville's coot-
teons and obliging poetmaeter was daring
lest week re-appointed by President Cleve
land for another term ot four years. On
Tuesday tbe appointment was confirmed by
the senate tbns making Msj. Gallaher post
master for another term of fonr years. Tbe
people of Sendersvllle while congratulating
Msj. Gallsber on bis re-appointment, con
gratulate themselves also, as they have nev-
been more efficiently served in this ardu
ous office than by the present incumbent
and bis oonrteons assistant, Mr. Waiter Gal
laher.
Mr. A. H. Crausby, of 158 Kerr St.,
Memphis, Term., says that his wife
paid no attention to a small lump which
veloped into a cancer of the worst type,
and notwithstanding the treatment of
the best physicians, It continued to
spread und grow rapidly, eating two
holes in her breast. The doctors
soon pronounced
her incurable. A
celebrated New York
specialist then treat
ed her, but she con
tinued to grow worse
and when informed
that both her aunt
and grandmother had
died from cancer he
gave the case up as
hopeless.
Someone then re
commended S.S.S.
and though little hope remained, she
begpin it, and an improvement was no
ticed. The cancer commenced to heal and
when she had taken several bottles it
disappeared entirely, and although sev
eral years have elapsed, not a sign of
