DRUGS OF THE CRIME OF 1870.
The electoral burglary of 1876-7 is

and that C. O. Antoine,colored Lieu

Th re ar■ two men in Ohio who
should read these records with inte

in the theft and accepted a Cabinet

has somewhat outlived the stain by
his less pretentious political moralitv
and bis active and creditable efforts to
give the country a sound financial
system ; but who recalls the name ot
Rutherford l>. liaycs with respect?
In the West Virginia Institution

the correctness of his theory. When
light had been gradually'let into the

Great distress for food threaleus

will afford but little relief. These
are the counties that suffered heavily
from drought and scourge last year.
John G. Wilson has written anew
