We published a lengthy and intereating ac
count of another Georgia mystery yesterday, ta
ken from the columns of the Savannah Morn
ing News. We took that article home and
read it it over several times and thought about
it. This is the result of the study : the article
is a hoax; it waa written inside of Savannah ;
it was written in a certain printing office; it
was written by well-known genius and it waa
not the “Profound Political F.ditar,” cither;
it waa written at All an empty space,
when there was an urgent cry for “copy.’'

owned an orange grove in Florida, and told

told her that he had been to the Mammoth

drank from Adair’s Julep tree, and was an in

smiled. A day wore past. The same recital
of adventure*, but she again only smiled. In
sheer despair he asked a German on board
what was the matter with her and he told him.
John was sold, but he begged te learn German.
He finally learnt the words ’Teh liebe sie,” fl
